Better to save hearts or spend them?

Rose bush stock up. The heart trees are also alright. The other decorations are horrible.
Is there anyone out there?

I'm saving mine at the moment but really unsure whether to spend them and stock up on decorations

I am waiting. There could be a 3rd option with them releasing more items to buy. But if nothing new comes along I will probably buy some trees to add some color. We still have 25 days to go and I already have bought all the items and still have 300 hearts remaining. And I am not even trying to collect more, they just keep coming between friends. There just has to be more, otherwise this was just too easy.

I've got two towns. One has plenty of donuts and the other doesn't. So the one with plenty, I'm saving up donuts and then going on a shopping spree for decorations to store. The one with only 5 donuts? I'm hoarding the hearts and waiting to see if we get the chance to trade them in for donuts.

I have every intention of doing this as well It adds more diversity to the decorations available. Once I have enough, I'll just keep them and if they disappear, so be it. It's not like EA hasn't done that before.

PEOPLE... SAVE YOUR HEARTS... YOU WILL NEED THEM FOR NEW CONTENT!

They are giving out way too many for the items available now. That means they will be used for other things very soon!

They probably wouldn't do that again after the mystery stockings, it shows they had some source to tell them about how disappointed everyone was with the outcome of the treats

I think 30 rose bushes should do it. What are they? 10 hearts? You'll have way more than 300 before new stuff.

I've spent a few extra hearts on things beyond what was required, but I'll probably save most of them for whatever comes.

The only annoying thing is that I wish I could know what they're going to do ahead of time. If they'll do a donut conversion again, obviously I'll save, but if they don't, I'll probably stockpile rose bushes. If I knew what they were going to do, I'd definitely be decorating more right now, when it makes sense to.

My guess is they offer a scratch off for 50 hearts and we get no new valentines day content.
