Class Coins Question

Sorry if this has been covered, but I've looked and haven't found an answer. Do the Class Coins carry over if you hit a level? I can send out 10 characters but only need 50 coins to reach the next prize. Should I only send 5? Thanks!
If at first you don't succeed, just give up-Homer J. Simpson

  • They don't carry over. What you can do in this case is send the first five out, wait half an hour or so, then send the rest. As long as you catch it after the first five finish and before the rest do, you'll get a quick return for the next part of the prize line.
  • They carried over for me.

Oh, OK. I could've sworn they didn't carry over for me, but maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention...
  • They did not for me. Each part started at 0.
Whoa, whoa, whoa – I only accept cash, bitcoin, or GameStop stock.

they don't carry over for me, but I suspected this would be the case from previous events similar to this.

  • No carryover here either. Only tried it once though, after that I timed things out so it wouldn't be a problem.

    They carried over for me.
If they can be collected separately, sure, otherwise not.

Collected all at once. Don't know why they weren't carrying over for others, but they did for me.
  • It "can" carryover, but you need the correct timing. You need a lot of other cash and XP on the ground, like collecting from a house farm, then tap the school and the coins will also be on the ground. If you need 50 coins, but have 100 coins on the ground, tap the coin pile until you get 50 coins. Then place the building or decoration, and tap though the next set of dialogue boxes, and the remaining coins on the ground will apply to the next level as long as the coins are not collected before the dialogue boxes are cleared.

That is almost certainly why it happened for me. I tap in bunches and the coins got mixed up with the cash.
