For us Brits in the U.K. because of Brexit the £ has weakened making purchasing donuts much more expensive.

Brexit gets the blame for everything, the pound was on its way down long before the vote but like most things in this country it'seasier to just label it all Brexit issue.

Except the £ dropped the moment the vote outcome was announced and has continued to drop with every boneheaded announcement related to Brexit that's been made.

  • With the freemium business model for mobile games, it could end up costing you more money in the long run than paying a flat price up front in the old school business model. The apps / games make their money by shoving advertisements in your face, charging for premium content, or giving you a crippled game, unless you pay to unlock additional levels. This is the standard operating procedure these days, and has been discussed many times already.

You can give yourself a challenge to build up a house farm to generate cash, which will be used to buy KEMs, rat trap trucks, or bloodmobiles to generate XP, which will be used to generate donuts. That could be a game in of itself. If you succeed, you will never have to buy another donut again.
  • This game is insanely expensive. I've spent about $200 on the game over the years. I wouldn't say I feel like I've been ripped off because I've definitely gotten a lot of value out of this game bit it's way to expensive.

    Thank god for KEM farming

Snap - and correct, the Pound dropped by almost ten percent the minute Brexit won and has stayed there.

Thank goodness (ironically) for the Digital Big Ben glitch, the tennis court glitch, and several other boosters that got me to 640% multiplier and let me save up 228m in cash so I could Bloodmobile myself from L200 to L939 and add 1300 donuts in just one morning. Know where you're coming from OP, my sympathies but hang in there and keep tapping away, you'll get there!

I think I've spent 50-60 dollars on this game. I still answer those surveys so I can throw a few more dollars at the game now and then. I spent my time until level 60 building up my bonus so I could more easily afford anything, so there is already a hybrid solution to the problem.

Yeah im relavetly new to tsto. But id seen people kem farming on my friends list. I just did abit of research on it all.
    Thanks dude.
Next purchase is my bloodmobile :)
  • I've never understood why prices are so high. I have spent many hundreds ( if not much more ) on iTunes at $1. 29 a pop. It's much easier to buy something for a dollar or two, than to drop 10 real dollars on a digital decoration.
