It makes sense if you look on the right side of your town there is no grass or whatever it is the bottom and the left side the water side have it I only need 9 more pieces of land and in those parcels they have the same looking grass just with the trash in it too so I hope the do open it up its gotta get bigger to make room for more buildings along with the new updates

So from what im understanding you saw this land was there and thought EA would make it available? I see the grass too and I hope one day they will give us more land but its only based on your observation it seems, not on real facts

The water isn't divided into plots like it used to be when you were in the build menu. Looks like that is their way of saying this area is not for sale.

about the markings disappearing. There was a lot of speculation about this a while back but the plot markings that were on the water are definitely missing now. It's not a positive sign........
