Can no longer get into tapped out...same sound plays over and over again

I am having same problem with the game not loading and the harp playing. Its now been a full week since i have played.

    It is quite sad indeed. Especially for a town as beautiful as mine.

    im in the same boat. I got in contact with ea and they gave me some nonsense to fix it, which did not work. The only thing i am doing now is waiting for an update.

    Did you try deleting and reinstalling the app? Or logging out of origin then logging back in?

    If you have the option, try another device. Occasionally my iPhone4 acts up. If I then close the app on the iPhone and then use my iPad, this seems to let me in. I haven't had this particular problem for a while.

    Unfortunately if you don't have access to another device, I don't have another fix :cry:

    Just so you know i visited your town earlier and it all there ok I know it dont help but least you know your town still has everything going on etc.

    Ha! Thanks. I wonder if it will remain unfinished forever. Then again...is anybodies Springfield ever truly finished?

    I know a lot of people are suggesting reloads and changing devices but that isn't the issue in this case. There are at least 1000s of impacted players and nobody has found anything that works for this problem.

    I can't believe EA haven't even issued a proper response about this issue. From the big thread on the support forums it's obviously affecting a lot of people.

    It's definitely not a problem with people's devices or the app itself as I've tried all the possible fixes and nothing has worked so it's obviously a problem with Origin.

    I've tried logging out/logging back in, deleting the app and re-installing it, restoring my device and tried on a few iOS devices and I can never get in.

    My other half can get into her account on all the devices no problem.

    If I get my town back I doubt I'll be buying any more donuts.

    I just wrote a topic regarding this problem earlier today... Happened to me this morning too. Guess we'll see if we're gonna get our towns back on the 28th with the new Update. Really doubt it that EA will do anything about it. Unless all the players are affected nobody will solve this mess. Sad...

    This may be similar to the lvl 26 crash, as a few people have the same issue :-( I really hope they fix it :-) but its inevitable that there will be another issue with the next update :-(

    This just sucks. I haven't been able to get into the game since hours after the update. EA isn't addressing it and the update is coming to and end with players locked out for weeks.
