What Themed Campaign Do You Want To See

So, we've now had Halloween, Christmas and Valentines...what other themes would you like to see and what would you want from them?

Personally:

Easter

- An egg hunt where you can hide eggs in your Town and your friends can visit to try and find them. Tapping them gives them an egg they can spend on Easter-themed items (a'la Valentine Hearts)

- A giant Easter Egg prop

- A bouncing bunny character

April Fools Day

- New tasks for Bart

- Introduce a new friend for Bart

May 4th - Star Wars Day

- Star Wars themed items???

May the fourth be with you. But May belongs to Whacking Day, my friend.

No worries Jack. It's a bit of a running joke around here. For whatever reason the word: s a i n t, or just ( s t ) is edited into a star. It was nothing you did.

March should be very colorful around here.

Bonfire night is a nice one but only celebrated in the UK so I doubt it will happen.

Love for * Paddy's Day.....what characters, tasks, items would you expect? I'm thinking a pot of gold and the friend task would be to pick four leaf clovers or pints of Guinness

In addition to Whacking Day, I'd love to see a "Do What You Feel" Festival theme filled with inadvisable tasks--although the Bouvier sisters' Lady Godiva task may be a bit much . . .

Why on earth would there be a Star Wars theme? LOL! I dont see it happening at all. Family Guy already overdoes it with the Star Wars thing (I guess they tried to make it a constant ritual like The Treehouse of Horror? But I am sorry they failed on that part lol)

I hope we dont get any Saint Patricks Day or Easter, just give us a break from these limited content games and make changes to the actual game itself (like the highly wanted character overview/task job book option) and leave the next limited content game for Whacking Day.

Edit: Why is S t together a bad word? EA you really have issues... :roll:

Agreed mitsuhoney. I would love a break from the constant new content. I love the game, but the constant donut expenditures are getting a bit much.

I guess one could always not buy new content, but once you've gained everything, its impossible to not keep up with the premium items. It's all or nothing (stop playing). A little reprieve would be much appreciated. It's a business though so I assume I'm out of luck there.

I don't think that's actually what you meant but thats my take. It's not exactly breaking the bank, but its getting pretty pricey for an app game. I do ove my little Springfield though so what can ya do!

Instead of Thanksgiving this Nov, I'd like to see a Dr Who tie-in for it's 50th birthday. The Simpsons have made references to DW before, including a 4th Doctor cameo. Reckon it's a slim possibility though

I guess EA/Simpsons would need to get the OK from the BBC to include Doctor Who - I had no idea it was popular in the US.

If peeps would like an alternative to premium items in a theme update, what would you like to see?

I don't want to see premium items go, but I would like to see some more cheaper premium items (10 donuts or less). 20 or more donuts a pop make it very expensive, and people can actually save up to receive the less costly items.

And do whacking day and Easter as minor themes like Fat Tony was.

I would like Peeps in the game :-)

But actually, I would love a single day Mardi Gras theme (ending on ash Wednesday of course).

I'm gonna go with S a i n t Patrick's day. New special character would be the leprechaun that tells Ralph to burn things which be a good way up to adding Ralph wiggum and the wiggum house to the game. The rivers and lakes would turn green and you could collect four leaf clovers from friends and receive them as we'll or maybe crocks of gold and spend them on special limited items.
