Screamapillar Pond.

Replies

  • This one had me stumped. It finally found a home by the ponds in my Chinese garden. @adruralo52 Thanks for the video, I appreciate this thing that makes me laugh when I tap it even more now. I thought the screams were recorded from a developer after reading our 'return the tourists' thread. :#

I don't have anything else to say.

Did you run out of words? I appreciate you posting the pictures. It helps me out. Dimensions of things really doesn't help me because I can't picture what it looks like.

I like you.. you're sweet @meinaz :) Just for you (and others that appreciate my efforts) ...

It's a small item... 6x6 of those tiny little squares or a full 1x1 road tile.

    There. Quoted for posterity.

Next time I'm measuring in screamapillars.

Surprisingly, screamapillars is an accepted unit of measure, according to the world council for weights and measures. Look it up if you dont believe me.

Do you know the conversion factor? I would like to start requiring my students only to measure in screamapillars.

Umm yeah, see heres the thing, I wasn't really prepared for any follow up questions. Next time I'll try to do better

I think it's good. Before I got it I was expecting something bigger but then I realized it's a home for a caterpillar so it's probably too big if anything. The devs clearly don't obsess about scale which makes sense for a game based on a cartoon people play on on their phones while pooping.

    Yup.
  • I was surprised, I just assumed the silhouette was of something large lol it's awesome!
Actually I love garden ponds :) specially when they scream at me. Got the HQ skin at the same time so I just dropped it and moved on. Love the HQ skin too!

This thread has me confused. In my game the item measures 4x4 in "the tiny little squares". What measure are people using to get 6x6?

They are using the little "sidewalk" squares on the side of the road.

The real question is what insect was @bluntcard smoking when he got his measurements.

Insects go "crack" when you step on them... so, yes.

  • Was anyone else thinking it was going to be bigger? Screams real nice though....

Same here! I like it but it's kinda lost. I was expecting something bigger, a landmark really.

I am not satisfied with most prizes in this event for the same reason. Miniature things - all of them are insignificant items, benches, bus stops. I mean really?!

    Does someone feel the same?

@czipotteszti Guess it depends on why you play the game. For me designing a town is my number one reason. The insignificant items are what add detail and interest, I love new plants and trees and the larger mail boxes are great. Love the bus stops and that they are proportional to the characters. I have ton of giant, bulky ugly, pointless buildings in my inventory. I also LOVE the Simpsons. :) Just another perspective.

I like the Secret Bus Shelter and the Manhole Station and I'm looking forward to Spy Carriage, Deep Dome Drill, and Nothing to See Here Everything else is meh.

So have EA gone mad with the scale of things again. Yesterday I received Dentz...so this is a workshop that is approx the size of the airport terminal.
  • What @bluntcard said. Loving that I have so many cool detail pieces. Don't like the mailbox though-don't like the idea of a gun in my face :D
I also love that there is a good selection of craftables for less then 150 whatever's. Last event I ended up wth like 149 whatever's and nothing good to buy so 'poof'

I see your point, and you're right. I am relatively new to the game and I am still collecting buildings, because I haven't got nearly enough. My town's not big and I don't have many streets either, so I guess it's just that the last thing I need in it is a bus stop. So it is subjective, I guess.

(On another note: I put the game on silent the last time, and I heard the pillar scream today for the first time. I laughed my **** off). :D
  • I didn't read ahead and thought the shape was a castle so when I got it I was thinking smallest castle ever till I got a good look at it.
    :o

    Me too! :D

The screamapillar pond, and the road square, are 4x4 as shown on the playing grid here:
    2FZOgYn.jpg

And it looks nice as a pool feature. Now he's a pool floatie! =)

I love the Parson waving as grenades are being tossed at him. That guy is always cool...
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

The screamapiller which is the size of a caterpillar could barley squeeze it self down that pool slide.
