Is it just me, or do you get annoyed when someone adds you and you visit their town and its untidy. When I say untidy, I mean they don't have any road system or any sensible layout to their buildings, its just all crammed together. Even though its still beneficial to have them as friends and visiting them, I find myself more likely to delete them as I don't see the point in them playing, where is the fun for them in what they are doing?

Well, guess that shows what kind of player you both must be then.... I don't see the point really!
  • When I encounter an untidy town, my first reaction is to summon my local authorities. In my area, this will only work a few times, as some of them won't consider this a real emergency. After that option has been exhausted, I normally contact EA's Helpline and after hours of criticizing them to an EA agent, I'll photograph their town, and post the pics all over the internet, shaming these untidy people into oblivion.

    Or

I remember it's just a game and I move on.

I think you take the game a little too seriously imo

While I may have personal preferences about how my own town should be orgainzed, it’s not my job to tell other people how to organize their towns. Frankly, when I see a seemingly disorganized town, while it may not be to my taste, it simply doesn’t bother me. As to what “the point” is, I assume that different people enjoy different aspects of the game.

    What KrustyBrand said.

I have a very tidy and designed town but I don't mind a neighbour with a messy town if it is a nice neighbour.
  • You should be able to nuke other people's towns if they're not up to spec.
  • I guessed most people don't have the time to tidy the town. I have a mix of well designed towns and untidy towns. But importantly I prefer them to be good visitors. A tidy town is nice to visit though

I prefer to see tidy towns than just a town full of cramped buildings and no roads.
However I don't delete them, it's their choice, but pass them very quickly.
However, I have a lot of neighbours who take delight in their towns are very creative, and it's an inspiration to see them and gets my creative juices going and I stay around their towns a little longer. Thankfully they are in the majority the messy ones are in the minority.

I've got some very nicely designed neighbour towns which I always enjoy visiting but I never mind untidy towns.

I am a "semi-untidy" tapper: I have a long stright road (double lane) vertically across my town because it is easy for me to catch and look at the characters. I tend to clean up my town a bit after every events but it is getting more difficult for me as events are coming closer now. Glad that I still have regular visitors, thanks neighbours :)

More importantly then being messy is, does the neighbor make sure there is items to click, do they visit your town?

  • My B town is a functional town. It's designed to reduce collect time. All 1hrs buildings are near together. All 2hrs, 3hrs, etc. it does not look tidy. But it's not a mess.

This x 1000. The events are following on more or less straight away so we're not getting much down time to design the new content very well.

I'm not overly happy with how I've placed the content from the tourist event yet but I don't really have time to do anything with it as I'm working on this event - and everything that I'm getting from this event is just getting dumped around my HQ for now until I can start to design my SF better.

it not usually no, which is the thing that mainly annoyed me... they are usually so chaotic that its difficult to look around for something being available to click on

or at least a voting system so that if there are... maybe 20 or more nuke requests that their town is nuked lol

I’ve guess I’ve never experienced this problem in the way that you describe. The one exception might be in those towns (either well organized or disorganized) where the user elects to have only a few or no roads. This tactic sometimes makes it difficult to locate mobile characters on which to click (as opposed to static buildings). I don’t think I’ve ever deleted anyone for doing this however.

Nah, but I imagine they live like this:

They might be stuck under bags of kitty litter and old newspapers, and for some reason the only way to alert others to their predicament is through messy TSTO towns.
