I was wondering the same thing. I have about 1100. I've done all the quests and bought a few things but for the most part I am saving them for now. I think I am a fairly active player and visit all my neighbors regularly. I can't imagine how some folks have double or triple (or even more) that many. What's the secret?

I was over 1400 but just spent a load on some more decorations so down to just over 1000 now

So wish we knew what was going to happen to them, being they are so easy to come by really makes me wonder if they gonna be used for something else :?

I don't really see the point in saving that many, I save up bout 100 at a time then buy a bunch of everything figure ill find a use for the trees,bushes and arches the most. I only bought 2 trains but a million of everything else.
