I support qantas on domestic routes in Australia (always try and opt for them over virgin australia and tiger (even though qantas costs more)), but as far as international travel goes, I'm not saying qantas is bad, but the Asian carriers like Cathay pacific, Singapore airlines and the middle eastern airlines like emirates and etihad tend to offer a better product in my opinion (not to mention a broader route network)

May I ask about the bad experience on Malaysian? Hopefully it was not too bad!

I work as cabin crew/ flight attendant so obviously I'm going to say my airline is the best ;) but emirates and Singapore are pretty high up! Literally...

KLM. Peru to the UK with a stop off in Amsterdam. Actually, any airline that means I can return to the UK without flying through the States.

The States is a nightmare not only do you need a special visa just to connect via an American airport but they also make you check off all of your bags and check them all back on again. Then it's back through security where myself or the wife will have to stand there and test each and everyone of my daughter's drinks and any food we have brought for her. It's a 24 hour trip door to door which means a lot of food and drink and therefore a lot of delay. Do they honestly believe that I would attempt to blow up a plane with my daughter on board? Has there ever been a case where this has actually happened?

Finally, I don't know what it is but it seems that the worst, rudest and most unhelpful Americans are employed at the airports. Is this a result of career's advice? Well you seem a total * have you considered a job at the airport?

    Rant over.

Yes but KLM tends to be quite a bit cheaper and some of Iberia's planes on the Peru route feel a little like they'll fall out of the sky.
