If you play often, you should be able to get the copter. I already have it, with no premium assistance.

i have 38 more before the copter. I have the pass
And 1 stargate. I think it's doable for freemium players by the deadline.

I agree, I think I am going to come up short this time as well. And I always play multiple times per day, and I have 4 premium trick or treaters. And I bought the portal as a nice decoration, but it gives me an additional 20-30 ray guns per day. I am at 5253 right now. Of course, I was originally going off the first chart posted on here, with the incorrect daily goal. So I was not working as diligently as I should have been, I guess. It has been difficult to get this compared to past events, without a doubt.

I think the hunting license probably makes a difference. More so than the portal, without a doubt.

I missed one day where I couldn't lignin every 4 hours and now in and like 250 behind the projected am loo 7nt in am supposed to earn each day.

I have not spent any money or donuts and it looks like I might just make it this round. I hoarded the last day of the last round and had 300 rayguns going in. But still, it's going to be tight. I check in every four hours except the 8 hours I sleep. I only send the kids twice a day.
My boyfriend does the same but he will end this round tomorrow, easily. The only difference I see is that he has a couple of neighbors who have few other neighbors so he gets a lot of gremaliens. I'm sure it helps to have feeder towns too. That's the only big difference I see. He also has way more of every kind of candy. Jerk

I just got the copter, sans hunting license. Trying to give gremaliens to my neighbors who haven't made it yet. I need more eggs!

I'm freemium, but have 3 premium trick-and-treaters, and used my last saved donuts on the ray gun to get more ammo.

I got the copter this morning, but I can see how freemium players can easily miss out on it.

In my three extra towns (not the feeder ones), I'm on track to get the copter by the deadline. One is my son's town -- we're 29 points down at the moment, for today's goal, but I haven't gone in for the final round of rigallian squishing, so that'll take us over the top for the night.

He's been just squeaking by in there. One premium Trick-or-treater, and the town has 15 neighbors ... and the Rigalien Hunting License, which gives him the same amount of rayguns as if he had 30 neighbors and no license.

The other two towns are going to finish on the 30th. Same in those two towns -- low number of neighbors offset by the license, and only one Premium Trick or Treater in each one. Whew.

I got the copter yesterday. The only donuts used on this event was buying the drive in theatre. Thanks to my peeps for coming to my SF to help. It's definitely possible to get this without speeding up.

The tribal hit will go where the blank space is and the die sign (3rd phase) will be at the Ray gun area (replace the trees). Hope I have enough stuff to replace the stone walls with the purple ones

The game is designed to try and encourage people to buy donuts in order to get everything, or the most desirable stuff. Before I started buying a few donuts a month I didn't get everything I would have liked. A friend of mine who objects to freemium games as a matter of general principle and beleives game companies should be charities thinks nothing of spending £50.00 on a night out. You have choice really. If you really want the copter and you are not going to make it speed it up. Or not.

i'm not denying that it's possible to get this copter

but I am coming 14th our of 100 on my leaderboard and still might not get there in time...a lot have given up it seems as they trail further and further behind
and my friends list is pretty fresh, I' deleted players who don't play (and added more) a few months ago

so by these stats I estimate that 80% of tapped out players won't finish this...that's bad :?

I hope I get there in time as i'm putting a lot of work in and am staying up till 1am to visit my neighbours now :? if only we could visit neighbours every 20 hours (so that I could comfortably visit every 24 without the time getting pushed later and later each day

maybe EA's entire business strategy is that only 30% of users actually play the game and the rest just give up

what morons work at EA, seriously

I don't understand how people play multiple times a day and not get the prizes I started this phase a day late, only play twice, maybe 3 times a day and im 800 ray guns away from the copter. Used two donuts to speed up a task.

I am a freemium player, started the event late (a few days in the second phase already), have no premium kids, nothing to speed up my raygun-collection (ie no portal, no licence, no gun, etc) and am still easily able to get the 7100 guns.

I do play several times a day and have about 40 active neighbours that I visit daily. With that its possible to get the copter. I think that EA designs each event that you can finish it without donoughts (but not necessarily get _all_ items).

So if you fall short, then doublecheck that you have 40+ active friends. Plant your eggs in your friends towns as late as possible (just before you go to bed) so that you have the best chance ur aliens dont get squished and try to have all your kids trick-or-treating 3 times a day. Then you should succeed...

I don't get this. I have 99 friends, 4 premium kids, and play daily. Yet I am like, 2 bags away from the copter while some people who are barely trying are getting them early and easily.

I'm a freemium player and I just got the copter about 4 hours ago. Honestly, the only way I have managed is by waking up in the middle of the night to collect bags. I make sure I get them exactly every 8 hours 24/7. I don't think I would have made it in time had I not been so involved. It's tiring tho. I hate missing out on free items and getting them is now like a job to me. I'm so bored, I can't wait for it to be over.

I'm not going to be able to get it either since I've got just under 2000 to go. I play numerous times a day (no less than four), send the kids trick or treating twice a day and I've even gotten guns five times via UFO so I just don't understand how I ended up this far behind.

Think I'm just going to admit defeat for the copter and just stash the bags for the next phase instead. Will admit that the copter wasn't high on my must unlock list.

I don't understand why you are having so much trouble attaining it. I only play once a day, bought one portal and never bought the license and reached the copter last night. I think that leaderboard is bullshite, I have been ranked 20th and lower the entire time.

Even though I've been hoarding eggs and I don't have any premium kids, I may actually get to the hover-copter! I'm less than 500 ray guns away now.
