Do you play on multiple devices for the same account?
I'm getting the same thing, except my game won't even load. It just force closes and that's it. I've opened the case with EA 2 weeks ago, so good luck with waiting for their answer They didn't even respond on Facebook.
So, after last night's update, I finally got Tapped Out working on my original device. This proves to me there was something wrong with the update and the compatibility with my phone. I still don't know what the problem was.
