Things Tapped Out needs to do

Prev1
Why would they give out Premium stuff for free when there are already tons of people who actually paid for the premium stuff? Never gonna happen I guess, but would be nice though.

the classic prize system: 10 personal prizes, 5 community prizes, and the Wheel of Fortune thing
I have to point out that this specific prize system has happened exactly once, last Christmas. I don't think it qualifies as "the classic." It was a pretty good system, though a lot of people hated the wheel. I liked the stonecutters prize mechanic the best, personally.

Mr Teeny definitely needs a task he can do by himself. My vote, as always, is to smoke cigars for 24 hours. Not bothered about Artie, his twelve hour task is fine with me.

You can change the order that many of the characters appear in the character finder by storing them and placing them again. For example store Moe's and place it again will put Marge (and Moe) at the end of the character list. Same for Krustyburger.

As for the prize system, I would be happy if they updated the Homer Buddha with new prizes and reduced the odds or eliminated the Mystery Box in it.

I love how you worded your title. EA doesn't "need to do" anything for you. If we all wrote what EA "needs to do" based on our likes and dislikes, they'd go bankrupt in less then 3 months.

As far as "classic" goes. The wheel was never a classic, nor will it ever be. A Classic prize system was collecting special event currency and using it to buy event prizes. That's from 2012. Personal prizes and community prizes can also be classic, since they were introduced early on on the games life. Everything beyond that is far from classic, and that wheel was a nightmare for many players. It cost EA a lot of players, so I highly doubt they'll go back to that failure.

In fact their events started to SUCK solely because they tried to fix what was not broken by messing with the event machanics. In my opinion, this years events were all failures in comparison to the previous 2 years. I don't event get excited over them or play them as much as I used.

And about giving people free premium items for donuts... I didn't get what you were trying to say with that. All I will say is they have become very generous with giving out free donuts. It might be the only saving grace they have for this year.

Personal prizes obviously... I liked Number 1's daily riddles in Stonecutters. I like community prizes because it adds to the community feel of the game. I also liked visiting random towns feature in **** for the same reason.

But Wheel of Fortune? Really? I Despised WoF! It was an unholy feature birthed from the bowels of H-E-Double-Toothpicks. Saten himself cursed the day he created the WoF once he realized just how pure its evil was. Yes, my hatred of the WoF runs that deep...

Oh look, more ill informed demands offered up without request or any thought being put into them beyond "WHA!! I KNOW BETTER AND DEMAND EVERYONE DOES EVERYTHING I WANT!!"

In my opinion the event system of Halloween and Xmas 2012 were the best. Those were the original so I would call that the "classic".
You win event currency and you can use that currency to buy what you want.
Not a set prize for.reaching a certain point.

I long for the day that I can have Mr Teeny on a task without Krusty... Like Stampy has the 24 hour Redecorate task, and the 12 hour with Bart, it would just be awesome if it was similar with Mr Teeny.

I enjoyed the daily scroll tasks

I would like to see all joint tasks as an "extra" on top of regular tasks. Pets like Stampy and Teeny should have at least one regular task aside from any joint tasks, and all normal characters should have a solo task for 1,4,8,12, and 24 hours (with other length tasks optional).

And I also favor the Stonecutters event model. I'd be fine with adding community prizes in as well.

I agree with everything you said but the premium prize system. It would be cool but it would make EA lose a lot of money. Also as much as I would love for community prizes to come back I consider a event good as long as it has personal prizes.

OP - if you want premium stuff either buy donuts or accept you wont have these items. This would almost certainly reduce income to EA and that would hasten the end of the game. And a definite no to the wheel of chance nonsense.

What I'd really like is to just click a button and assign everyone to a task of a certain length, so I don't have to tap as much. E.g. when all the characters are free, set them to all do 24 hours tasks (or a duration as close as possible if they don't have a 24hr) with one tap.

    This would be perfect!

Brace yourself for the outcry that this would defeat the whole purpose of the game.

You would still have to collect the money from buildings and people. It would just mean that its easier give jobs out to people (e.g. no accidentally giving wrong jobs, faster, everyone finishes at roughly the same time) and obviously it would be optional. :D

I know, and I'd be all for it, but the objection that the game is called Tapped Out is a very common one when anything like this is mentioned.

A solid NO to Wheel of Chance, though a great money earner for EA it's just a pain to get everything and you will end up shelling out a hell of a lot of doughnuts if not careful

If there is ever a wheel of chance again I will be saying all the swears. Mr. Teeny needs to have a 24 hour task. Also the Drive In needs a McBain marathon!
