Can I defer update to finish Halloween Quests?

It looks like so long as you don't do the App Store update for your device it will continue. I still have mine and it's still fine

If this is possible, I'd like to know for how long I can keep this up. Because I'd like to craft other items as well. I started out way late already. hehe

You should be able to delay for a little while, but eventually the update will be required. So have at it while you can!

You totally can, but it will only be for a limited time. Hurry and craft your items quickly!

Neuro is right, it's hard to say when it will force update, but it does usually give you a day so I would say about noon tomorrow, maybe more if we're lucky.

I'm just trying to get a second hut. I'm 6 candy bars away and just sent all my kids back out trick or treating. Should I cough up the 3 donuts now? or wait 8 more hours?

If it were me, I'd go ahead and spend the three donuts. Three donuts isn't that much for a nice little house that pays out and contributes to indolence. If it were only a couple hours, that might be safe, but there's no guarantee the update won't be required sometime tonight.

I'm finished, but if I get one more ammo that shoots me down another 30-donut UFO, I don't mind playing a little more. If I stay awake, I'll send the kids one more time tonight, but update in the morning and not press my luck.

I'm still playing. What I hate is I'm very close to getting a third hut bu it's candy corn I still need. Willing to spend a very small amount of donuts (less than a tentacle tree basically because otherwise I'm better off buying another one of those) but if I do that I won't have and candy corn for more walls or bushes. I believe I have five bushes and I like the design I do have of my current walls (and ugh 25 candy corns per wall is so insane!) but its a tough choice. Meanwhile I've long had enough for a THIRD spooky house and almost wish I had done it for another bag or two. Honestly if I still enough left over and no more candy corn, I may just do it because why not.

I'm just so afraid I hole off too long and the force update happens and I never get to craft anything else. I have two of everything I can have two of and more than that of bushes, walls, HTS so I don't know if I will really care. Hard to decide. But I am milking it. Won an extra bush and two donuts today. Still vaguely hoping my last dang ammo will get me the 30 donuts finally because I never got it!

I hate that they force update. If they didnt I would just update as soon as I was through with that last dang hut and a couple of walls. They let Easter go on for friggin ever if I recall but not any since then. Missed out on the Stonecutter donuts from end of quest by literally an hour or two because of the forced update. That one really hurt!
