The premium price to see Freddy quimby found guilty

Princess Kashmir is a must have for me from a classic Simpsons episode....... Bought her right up and my questline will end after her but I guess. But I bought her before I knew about the questline bit- for me, that makes her even more worthwhile......
And I still haven't bought lugash

Level 47 has been good. I liked that a few characters hardly used in the Storylines got a chance to testify against drunken rich playboy Freddy Quimby BUT I've reached that point where the only way to continue the storyline is to purchase Florence of Arabia and that dancing hooker. They did this with an episode tie in recently where milhouse got a new skin but premium character lugash had to finish the story. That didn't bother me but as a regular level update???

I spend donuts on heaps of limited time stuff but I don't buy permanent premiums so in my springfield, I'll never know what might've happened to Freddy and I guess I won't be able to unlock his 1 hr or 24 hr task either....

Perhaps at these higher levels, there is a rationale to keep making money off long time players but how do you feel about a premium character being required to finish a storyline/level for a regular level update?

Um, I'm pretty sure the Princess Kashmir part of the Freddy Quimby questline is purely optional, and that you'll be able to find out what happens to Freddy even if you don't have Princess Kashmir (I'm on part 6 of 'The Cost of Living' having already found out about Freddy's guilt/innocence).

    Or am I missing something?

I'm still waiting for the Quimby compound to finish building and I haven't read ahead to see what happens so this is the first I'm hearing about this. Not getting to see part of the quest line isn't that big of a deal to me but not having a 1 hour task for a character from a main level quest line unless I purchase a premium character is pretty annoying to me. I feel like EA should want all characters to have a 1 hour task no matter what. Setting characters to 1 hour jobs means I'm checking back in often. Isn't that what they want?

    Sorry.

I thought the French Waiter was more of a 'must-have' than the Princess, and for 50 donuts I fired away.

I wouldn't say he's a bad character, but the quest line is VERY short. Still funny to see him clumsily stumbling around my town.

Yeah, my secondary town doesn't have premium characters, and Freddy's 24-hour task opened up. To be honest, I never even looked at his one-hour ...

My main town is full-scale premium, and ran the Princess Kashmir side-quest.

My problem was that both questlines kept stalling because I didn't have the right characters free. It's a mishmash of Judge Snyder, Chief Wiggum and Mayor Quimby. At almost the end of the questline(s), I finally found the info for who triggers which step, which helped because that way I knew who needed to be free. But I don't recall where I saw that.

Maybe it's in the questline LPNintendo linked you to ... I don't recall.

@LPNintendo, is that where I saw it?

This is why I tend to keep all my characters free during quests like this. I could go check the walkthrough, but this keeps a little element of surprise. :)

they've done this with pretty much every recent level update so far but the premium character isn't required to finish the main questline it it's just a sidequest

Bonus Sidequests if you have a premium character
    Level 43: Sherri and Terri
    Level 44: Frink
    Level 45: Artie Ziff
    Level 46: Dr. Nick
    Level 47: Princess Kashmir

I have a question about these side quests. I'm not a premium player but I have bought a few premium characters as I've accumulated donuts. I'm currently in the middle of the new Quimby quest line but I don't plan on buying Florence of Arabia any time soon. If I end up buying it in say five or six months when new levels have come out and I'm at those new higher levels, will this side quest still trigger and let me go through it?

Thanks! In that case I have a followup question. You said Frink had a side quest with level 44. I assume he also has his own quest for when you buy him. If I buy him now how do those two different quests run? Will they try to go at the same time or will the Frink main quest run through and then the level 44 side quest?

The day this update released FXX showed the episode where Freddy Quimby goes to court for beating up the French Waiter.
