The building is meh but I got it for the character as she is an iconic character that appears in more than one episode and she is voiced.
I am happy with my purchase.

I like the neon animation of the restaurant and the Jacqueline's completed tasks animation. She has 1, 4, 8, 12 and 24 hour tasks. Her questline was cute but meh. Maybe there will be more quests with her in the future - say come Valentines?

I would definitely enjoy a story about the love triangle between Jaqueline, Abe Simpson, and Mr Burns. We can't be sure that would happen, though.

I like it a lot. Mrs. Bouvier's voice clips stand out.

Also, I know you have a thing for matching colors. Not only does the building look nice, but something tells me that roof and sign were made for matching.

I was thinking it would look nice by Madame Chao's. (It would look better by the Frying Dutchman, but it won't go on squidport.)

I think the questline is pretty weak. One task is an indoor 36 hrs with Bart and grampa.

I don't spend donuts readily but I got it because it fitted in perfectly to a new area I was creating.

That being said, she is a well known character

That building doesn't do it for me (I'm a vegetarian) - but Jacqueline rocks. So strange that they made her Limited Time. What was that about? Great storyline, cool animation - and funny too. Ker-ching!

I think she could be like CCL, who was limited time during the event, and then changed afterwards. But you never know, so you better get her while you can. I did purchase her and just finished her questline this evening. I enjoyed it, but I like the building and her character better than the story. I am waiting to do a big redesign on my town, after I purchase some of these other Black Friday deals. But I like the way the building looks for a few reasons. The neon light up is nice, when you send a character there. I was really hoping Grandpa's, dine at the Super Smorg, task will become permanent. But her outdoor task of dress indecently I really like. Plus her outdoor visual tasks are both convenient lengths (8 and 24 hours) so they are more likely to be used in the future. And her character is voiced, so that is a relative rarity. All of those factors made the decision easy for me, price was reasonable for the building plus character.

I don't recall CCL being listed as limited time during the Macbeth event. (Nor was the candy, puppy, & fireworks store.)

It is still there I Just looked go in the menue click on the icon with the tree and the park bench very bottom last on the left.

Good buy, neuro - I think we have similarly stingy donut spending thresholds, and I got this one without much hesitation, and no regret. For now, at least, I'm amusing myself by putting it beside the Staples Centre...

Mostly wanted to say thanks for starting this discussion. I was already planning to buy it from the moment I saw it because of Jaqueline but held off until I pull get some BF iTunes discounts. I was just doing some mental math on how much money I've put into the game in the 9. Months I've been playing (and only went premium whenever that summer Gil deal hit) so discussions like this help ease the guilt a bit. Lol

I'm not even a Simpson's diehard (the game honestly got me more into the show!) and the first time I saw this one I just knew I had to get it so I think that says a lot. It's always worthwhile to buy more iconic show items/ characters and the building/character combos are a great deal.

I also have always LOVED the casino so I'm going to pick that up too. Super Smorgasbord is obviously a bit smaller but its also ten donuts less (granted youve been playing longer and either have casino or don't want it but seems like a decent comparison point being limited time, a character building combo and Thanksgiving) and of course that character is a one off one episode deal. Could throw out how many building/ character combos are more costly too. So great price, a character many have been asking for (and there's something to be said for having all the Bouvier women), limited time- seems like a great choice for your surprise big win.
