  Mine had a present but only gave me cash as well. The Work Shop was done, but Homer and Lisa had not finished their 4 hour task yet, so I'm sure that's why.

  Yeah but Homer and Lisa are still on their 4 hours task. I guess I should have waited to click on it.

  Have you reached daily maximum limit? My presents stopped after 120 when doing neighbors

  I think my present depot did the same too. It said presents but gave money? I'm pretty sure I didn't recieve any present currency unless somehow it I missed it or it auto collected but I don't think my total increased. I got presents from Christmas tree earlier and I think it was 10. And I still had 10 after collecting from the depot I believe.
  
  Any my elf house gave me money today. And after that I tapped it and it said it earns presents.

  So far it doesn’t matter if they have built the workshop. The elf house, the holiday tree and the christmas deposit do not award presents at neighbour towns.

  I have these elf houses from last time and then are giving me presents at the moment, the xmas trees have presents hovering over them but only pay out money
  
  Looking like another event glitch which will hopefully be fixed soon

  No, I'm currently collecting in friend's towns and the counter is going up.

  yeh same here, although they do pay out presents when visiting neighbours, holiday trees are the same also, noticed last night... at least there's no wheel :P

  Nope no wheel, but the present boxes are acting like the Easter boxes. Random and chance based.

  No worrie, i have that too BUT the second time i collected present prise, i think it was already ready to collect if i updated and had to be reset.
  So wait till you tab it the second time, NOT WITH FRIENDS DOUGH
