Just a little comparison

I don't see how anyone could manage to play both games. I already spend so much time playing Tapped Out that another game like it would be too much. I have considered playing The Flintstones one, but not Family Guy, since I don't like that show. Anyway, I'm glad you like our Christmas better. :)

I played the Family Guy game when it came out but it was too overwhelming - there's too many costumes and skins to unlock. I felt like I was checking it every 2 hours.

Plus I like Simpsons way more.

Yep. Pretty sure seeing the start of the holiday event I'm about done with it. It's clear they are a small company that just wants money from the players. The rarity of stuff for ingame cash that is worth buying- who needs a huge turkey just sitting in a yard?- outrageous clam prices for everything people do want.... 200-500 clams is a regular amount for items in that game. It's a funny game if you like the show, but if your hoping to collect stuff like over here- you better be prepared to really throw down some cash!
I am buy far more satisfied with TSTO. I'll gladly spend my money here- good deals, things I want..... Much more attached to playing my tapped out

I also started playing FG. After a few weeks it seemed I was getting nowhere - and since I pay real money in TSTO I didn't want to get started buying clams. I deleted it, felt relief!

I play both and will continue to play both. FG always has a lot of limited items worth clams that can make the items drop quicker but aren't necessary. It makes it easier for me not to buy buildings because I have no room for them. I am a sucker for characters though (in both games). I probably spend more time in TSTO because of vising neighbors but log into FG more just to check on quests.

Of the games I have played in this vein, this one is by far the most fair in terms of freemium content and sheer amount of available stuff. Everything else I have tried I have dropped because the freemiums became so ridiculously reduced that it was impossible to play without dropping a load of cash every time I logged on. Add to that the overwhelming amount of content available and they became just too much of a chore and no longer relaxing.
