Gil sale - what did you buy? [updated with another poll-option]

Tried to buy 900 but game closed as I paid now no cash and no doughnuts :-( anyone having this happen?

I won't be buying any until they sort out the glitches. I bought 60 the other day, just before the servers went down. I lost the donuts and my money. EA on the live chat want a screenshot of what I paid before crediting my game. I have no idea how to do this on android. Not sure I want to spend more on a game, (I've spent quite a lot more), on a game so full of glitches. Are you listening EA?

That sucks, don't you get a mail, when you buy something in a game or something?

I've been reviewing my town and I'm not happy to move anything to make space for either the castle, which is tenuous in Simpson Lore at the most, and the ski slope. As such I won't be buying anything large until more land is made avalable so no donuts for me.

I think you can contact Apple/Android/whatever and ask for a refund.

I'm trying to decide between the Truckload and the Store full. The store full seems a little pricey although I can afford it. Any suggestions?

345. bought the ski lift and Flanders outfit, so I'm at 219 now... debating Stu's Disco or a couple of cheaper items, or just waiting to see what the next limited-time items are...

I'm a little on the fence on getting donuts right now because the game is very unstable. I'd hate to miss out on the Gil Deal, but I don't want to risk wasting my gift card until all the glitches are fixed and sorted out.

Well, when I was ABLE to get on, I bought 400+45 and 50+6 donuts and so far I bought the Ski Lift with Stupid Sexy Flanders skin. It's a 4% multiplier plus a funny skin for Flanders with premium jobs- no brainer!

Now the damn game needs to load!!!!!!!!!! I emailed EA about it but we'll see...

Really? I would consider going for the £14 option but that only get 45 extra donuts. There isn't really much interesting you can buy for 45 donuts.

If they want me to spend money, they'll have to try harder I'm afraid.

The 15% iTunes card from eBay a few days ago plus Gil's sale brings a boatload brings the donuts to 2.7¢ a piece. That's a no-brainer for me (and should keep me set for a few months).
