I can't get on now. I have been playing most off the day with out any issues. But then for the past hour or so, nothing but the Bart screen for me. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem again.

Same here. I playe all day and now can't log in. Although I'm still getting the notices that a neighbor has visited.

    Very frustrating. :x

I just read that EA got hacked again. Could be the reason why we kept getting outages these past couple of days. This is ridiculous!

Anyone who bought things directly from EA should watch their bank accounts, because credit card info was stolen. There weren't many numbers but don't take that risk.

I hadn't been able to get on since Christmas Eve. I've cleared cache and uninstalled and reinstalled. I give up.

With all of these server problems, they should extend the time on the second half of the Holiday event!! We should get an extra week at least.

I totally agree with you. There are going to be a lot of people who'll be way behind by the time this issue is resolved. I think it'll only be fair to those who had log in issues for this event to be extended.

That's when the attack took place from what I understood. Just give it some time so they can sort their servers out. It seems to be very odd with how devices connect. I was able to connect through my phone while my iPad was unable to. If you have any other device you can play on, maybe try that and see if it works for you.

I occasionally get this problem om my ipad, but my android phone can log in. Further, i found that if I play a bit on the android and then go back to the ipad, sometimes I can log in again. Unsure if that is just chance or if that is related.

From what I heard, this was old info being released and not a new hack. Still, you should be careful, check your bank/credit card statements and change your passwords.

With the way things are going, we should be changing our passwords every day...

This was specifically a Christmas hack. They attacked a bunch of sites, most notably PSN, and Xbox Live. There's a link I posted to the article, if you'd like to read it.

Everything was fine until an hour ago. I had just got the Sequel Stop. Now I can't get past the first step of the tutorial before the Bart screen hits.

This isn't the same as any previous time I have had to deal with this. Usually I can get far enough through the tutorial to get back into my game. Now I am getting notifications of friends visiting my game - and my Origin ID shows up - but as soon as I get to placing the Simpson house I get the Bart screen and it all starts over again.

Is anyone else having issues at the moment? I was on this morning but I keep getting the Bart screen at the moment. I did restart the app and still no love.

I'm starting to wonder, if it is not a side-effect of some DDoS attack protection. I'm getting connection problem several times a day and I can reliably cure it by changing the IP number. Like switch from home to mobile network, or from mobile to home if it is mobile that has problem, or reconnecting the router causing it to get a new IP...

Tried to look at the link provided in the article that listed all companies affected but seems that has been rerouted to the Twitter page of these jerks bragging about their deed.
