Correct me if I'm wrong but...

The last TWO levels have the highest modifier (4x), so you'll have to wait for another level.

I don't really want to spend $1,000,000 on the quimby compound. I mean that's the same price as an aspirational building

It's 7 or 8 levels before a building fully drops down in price (ie hits the lowest cost)

This year was full of updates that didn’t allow new players to increase their earnings. I remember that 2013 was heaven for having some peace if you wanted to only pile more money. Anyway you will have to wait for e few updates if you want to get it cheaper but is it going to be as exciting?

I wonder how much do you get from your town per day and have you gone premium?

For me, 2013 was the year of getting rich quick by using the stackable handshakes on Channel Six. In my freemium towns, I used all my donuts to buy Arnie Pye and made a gazillion dollars exchanging triple-taps with neighbors. With no 2-day wait period for regeneration ... Well, I was making truckloads of money every day. And XP through the roof, so lots of free donuts for leveling up, ergo able to buy premium multipliers, etc.

It was a big money-party for me

Kind of in the same boat as the OP, not that I mind the price tag on the building but I haven't had time to accumulate a lot of cash like some of the older players here. I started after the Stonecutters event this year and now am L. 48. May not seem like a lot to those who approached the last few levels at a more leisurely pace but we more recent players are scrambling to attain the funds.

I started this year as well, and even though I've been at the max levels for a couple of months now, I'm always two levels behind with unlocking new characters and quests because I can't build up enough funds to catch up.

I'm not complaining, honestly, because I feel like I'm at the sweet spot of the game where there's plenty to do and getting to the next quest requires some planning. But it does mean that unless I invest real money to buy donuts to get the premium characters and the returning "limited time" characters that older players got for free, I'll always be behind the curve. Plus, unless I want to fall another level behind the pace, asprirationals are pretty much out of the picture.

    .

Not really. Many who are on the upper levels have millions in game cash, which is why they start so high in price. When level 48 hit, I was close to $50 million. Now have around $55 million.

When I hit level 48, I'm pretty sure the Quimby Compound dropped to 750k instead of 1M.

I haven't got all that much money saved up yet since I'm still a fairly new player, but I've just recently hit max level so the building purchases are trailing off and I'm concentrating on buying land blocks periodically. (I'm going to end up with a LOT of empty land at this rate, which makes all the threads crying for more land a bit amusing.)

I'm at level 48 and just got to level 47 quest. I have one of every building. I don't have the crazy stuff that costs millions. And I have all the free characters plus 6 premium rate characters (2 or 3 gotten free). I also visit all 100 friends daily. I leave all my buildings ready for friends to tap and by the end of the day I have collected from just about all of them. I put all characters on tasks every 4 hours or less during the day and on 8 hour task over night. From that I am pretty sure I am getting several 100,000 per day maybe more. If I had extra room I could even do a house farm that in the long run I believe would give even more.

I started in January and have plenty of money for the new levels. I choose to stay 2 levels behind in content to wait for prices to drop because I'm working toward the last strip of land and aspirationals as well. I have the chocolate building and am working on the Sit and Rotate. Once I'm caught up I will level up as content becomes available. If you play regularly it's not that hard.

I assume this is including full rounds of 100 friends and building collecting. Otherwise I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure there are not over 1,000 characters available in the game.

You're probably right, but with multipliers it is easily possible.

Nope. My multiplier is at 647% and I have every character available.

Oh wow that would certainly make the difference. I had no idea that could get so high.
