It seems with a all the " isues" we been experimenting they decided to halt what's next.
On their FB page they are selling (premium) elf caves, (which obviously haven't been
Implemented on the game.

I too feel the end of the quest to be very lame. Really hoping they release more stuff.

Just like the New Years dialogue it just ended with no outlook on 2015
I hope a level update comes next week

Maybe they are concentrating on fixing some of the issues before releasing further content.

Both the main quest and New Years just end.... So homer goes on a 24hr task and............... Nothing

I read this yesterday and I couldn't log into the forum to reply.

I agree, it ends with skinner trying to get Bart to dress as an elf and Bart wanting pudding? That makes no sense as a closing quest. And with the missing dialogue from New Years, this makes no sense what so ever.

What are you guys doing over there EA?

I've noticed a lack of closure with several story lines. It's odd to put in so much work without a clear ending.

Agree, the questline just kind of ended, no payoff. The elves are just gonna leave on their on. Why not find out Mr Burns is behind bottling the elves or something LOL

It says the event ends on January 13, yet my countdown timer currently reads 14 days 21 hrs, which puts the end at around Jan 18. Probably using the extra time when they figure out what's up?
