I wouldn't care if it worked absolutely perfectly. I don't believe items like this (or ghost vacuum, or bunny zapper) should be prizes. Just make them something you can earn through a separate quest line and make prizes actual things you can keep when the event is over.
Well they didn't have to give it to us. There was no zapper for whacking day with the snakes. You tapped them all. So for people who APPRECIATE THE LITTLE THINGS, it IS a useful prize. Perhaps you are not one who thinks like us. Too bad.

I personally believe EA should reimburse Hasbro for their blatant rip off of the blockbuster film series "Transformers". I have several transforming prizes from last year. One moment, they're a frozen statuesque recognizable snowman/snowwoman/snowchild/snowgeezer, and then, they transform unexpectedly into a puddle of water, only to transform again 11 months later. I didn't mind the Simpsons melting, but I would have liked the Ice Goddess to stick around. (I don't know how I didn't see it coming. This isn't my first year on Earth. Although I'm not a meteorologist, I have witnessed ice melting in warm temperatures).

I voted that i love it, because I don't hate it. I use it so I can zap elfs without tapping a "ready" building. I try to leave certain buildings for visiting neighbors.
