Someone is mistaken or looked at the wrong prize or typed the wrong thing. Prizes unlock at the same amount for everyone.

I'll also just clarify here that the daily bell chart does not list how many you need for the prize you will unlock that day, it lists the total you need that day to get the island before time runs out. Some people have been confused by that.
