loss of donuts

Multiple reports of lost donuts from friends and handshakes lately.
Yep, I too have had this as do my friends who play
Not sure if a ticket with EA will help or not

Yes there been a lot of reports about this, also today I lost 8 cogs that didn't register
when I zapped 4 elves. Don't think EA will help you get them back, the will offer some
compensation thoug.

When ever i see a donut appear i always tap it to "Try" and make sure it is collected and in the bank as it were, so far i have been ok with keeping the gained winning ones, but have seen/heard a lot of people who have not received them

are you sure?

i have received 3 donuts from clearing handshakes on my cannon so far this event but none of them survive synchronizing the game.

I am wondering if anyone spends it if they get to keep their item or will they lose it and get their donuts minus one back.

a couple of days ago I got a donut from tapping in my own town, from the handshake on my elf blaster. went to my friends towns and came back to synchronize. the next day the donut was gone from my total.

Doing this doesn't matter, even if you tap on it, it gets collected, and it increases your donut count many of us still lose that donut after a certain amount of time. It's a recurring problem that just continues to linger since the start of Phase 2.

The donuts collected from visiting my neighbors have gone up, but none of the five donuts collected from handshakes in my town have stayed after I left the game.

I haven't been getting donuts from visits lately. Maybe this is why.

I would guess I am missing donuts too. Daily I get the homer blurb hmm premium currency around 5 times. But looking at my donut total it doesn't look right. Taking out the amount of donuts I had before the new years quest and the 10 from new years quest, I should have at least 12 more donuts being conservative on the about 5 per day. So do we wait until a bug fix is distributed before making a claim with them for credit of the missing donuts?

this could possably be exploited to get negative doughnuts, not sure if its still like that but once you got negative you can buy anything you want.

The donuts from the handshakes are a glitch. We aren't supposed to be getting them. That's why EA is doing nothing about them when people complain.

I got one yesterday. Tapped on it. Went to Krustyland and back... Sure enough, it was gone.

I got 4 donuts from Friend Actions today: 2 in each of my games. And got them tapping cannons and tunnel doors. I've been in and out of the Neighborhood, Krustyland, crashed a couple of times... Still got 'em.

With the towns i run i havent had any problems as of yet *fingers crossed* i generally take note of how many donuts i have before starting the visits so when i get back i can see how many i have got, as of yet every donut i have seen has been added to my total. I may just be lucky at the moment, i know there are a lot of people like your self who havent received the donuts which is appalling lets me honest

Tbh i havent checked my donut total when i have received a donut from the cannon :oops: so that may not be working, i only tend to take note on the visiting side

Sorry to hear you are one of the people who are missing out on the collected donuts

I will raise the issue(s) with the powers that be as it may be a case they are unaware of this, if they are aware tho I'm sure it will be looked into

Hmm...I play with the sound off so I never hear Homer...wondering how many donuts have appeared that I'm unaware of? As far as I know I haven't received donuts from friend visits since the start of this phase.
