People say they don't want prizes that everyone can win- why? Why shouldn't they have prizes that everyone can win if they play the game devotedly and have good neighbor support? It's the whole point of the game to grind and visit neighbors
For an event I would like something that combines the best of what we have gotten during the last seven months: daily prizes based on tasks and/or riddles, multiple phases to keep us playing, prizes for the phases that require you to play constantly but won't be unrealistic if you have to actually work and sleep, prizes that come with multipliers
I can't think of anything that would say "Spring", the only thing that really pops in is baseball, gardening, and Easter- an event combining my suggestions and one of those three themes would be a nice Spring event.
How about a Passover event? We could try to find the matzah!
(OK, so 95% of you don't get that at all.... )
Lmao now that would be a funny event!
And I get the joke!
Though if we go by the real tradition, only one kid can find it and get the present! I can only imagine the outcry on here if that ever happened!

Those are what I like to call idiots
Or more politely, people who want to feel special by having something others don't in a rather meaningless game. Some people need to feel special, and games are their outlets for that. Sadly for them the world doesn't rotate around them and that'll never happen. Well if it does that'll be the final nail in the coffin for this game. Then those who said this can feel extra special for having an entire game which no one plays to themselves.

...OK reading this I need to google what you guys are talking about, I'm really behind on my Jewish holidays and traditions
Not really 100% sure what I'd like from the spring event, but some things I would like to include would be some new playable characters that can have jobs in the unused buildings that we have around our towns, the goals should be attainable by everyone if they are prepared to do a reasonable amount of work at it (that includes people who work for a living) and should be fun to play, not feel like a full time job.
I'm fatigued from elf tapping. A lot of effort needed.....
A few weeks break to do some remodelling would be great. Also, the snow is nice but it's darn hard to place flowers and stuff in the snow and think how they'll look like in summer so it would be nice if that leaves soon! (Bah humbug, I know!)

they should just add a system where you can change view like view in summer, view in autunm, view in spring and view in winter.

I would have to disagree a bit with your assessment that people who enjoy a chance element to an event are people who need to feel 'special' somehow. I think we're just all different - some people enjoy an element of unpredictability in the game, while others prefer to know exactly what they're working towards and exactly how much effort it's going to require to get there. Personally, I really enjoy the chance aspect to an event as long as it's well designed (i.e. not like Easter).
I also don't mind events in which not every player gets every prize due to chance - and it's not that I want to feel special or think that the world rotates around me, it's just that I think randomness can be fun and don't really care about acquiring every single item I possibly can. I didn't get the Helter Shelter during Christmas 2013 and was a bit disappointed at the time...but over a year later, I realize not getting that building hasn't negatively affected my game experience one tiny bit.
I would be okay with an Easter or Whacking Day event because I wasn't playing during last year's events. They could always make a completely new event too. I just like the events and updates. Keeps the game fun and interesting for me.

By Summer, it'll be 1,400 donuts for a section of fence.

**** (even though I enjoyed it), with a prize wheel with 99% of the prizes being fences? Doubt there would be much of a server overload then.
I'm looking at you, Easter fences and ponds, whilst enviously looking at other people's Blocko store, Father Sean and Mary Bobbins... Grrrr.
