It always makes me smile when I read your comment, and then look back at your avatar
I activated the "shock" option in case my game senses another person's touch. It drains my battery quite quickly, but it's very effective.
Like your hair piece.

My face is up here
Thanks for the smile.
...but how do you deal with all of the questions stemming from the shocks?
I saw the oops, but I was canon and cavdoohattun tapping and didn't go any farther, I thought it was your way of apologizing for no available taps on the goodies. Sorry to hear and good luck getting your town back.
get a room or a cavdoorhattun.
He was in my lap, quietly wrecking Springfield, while I was certain of his physical safety, but not really following the plot on what he was actually doing. He can't get into anything inappropriate, but I probably should sign out of things more than I do.
It's amazing what seems normal to us now. If you had told Eisenhower that there would be a device that could fit in a pocket, instantly access all of the information in the world, take and send photos and video instantly, and give directions via satellites, not to mention making phone calls without wires, you would blow his mind. He would immediately see the implications for the military, and he would be right to do so.
If you then told him that everybody carried these devices, teenagers and housewives and people sitting by pools in the summer, and waiting for their food in restaurants. And then you said we used them to play games, and keep ourselves and our kids busy, and be in constantfreakingcommunication with everyone we'd ever met, and most of us don't use our amazing handheld wonder machines to do anything earth-shattering at all. I imagine he'd go beyond mind-blown to dismayed with the wasted potential.
I know when I was a little girl, computers were serious business. We went on a field trip to see a Kray computer in Boulder Colorado. Seriously, we all got on a bus to drive to a different town to look at a computer. Which didn't look like anything, because it mostly consisted of a giant room full of the computer "guts." We carry more computing power around in our smartphones than NASA had available for the moon landing!
So, it's just crazy sometimes for me to think that I now can sit down and chat about how my two year old got into my game, which is hosted I-don't-even-know-where, and played by people all over the world, and laugh about how he has enough ability as a toddler to move all my pixels from one place to another without me knowing.
Future shock.
The irony embedded in this comment is...
...depressing.
Don't get me wrong hipmama I do believe you
I'll keep visiting, hope you get your town back to normal soon.
edited because smilies didn't work
I never let my kids near our iPads when they were that young they were told to stay away from the game! letting a kid that young play your game is only asking for trouble :P just be thankful he only nuked your game and didnt sign you up to all sorts of other things or spent your money
On the plus side you got a full redesign to keep you busy now
My son will be 2 in March and he is so obsessed with the "Pad Pad" as he calls it.
he doesn't try to go into tapped out which is hidden on the last page in a folder anyways. It is unbelievable how good he is at the iPad. We have it locked so he brings it to us to unlock for him then he scrolls through the pages until her finds YouTube and the starts watching his videos. He starts to dance when he gets to what he likes and its so funny. he gets upset at the advertisements and immediately picks a different video. He knows how to make the video full screen and back and to start the video if it is paused. it is so funny watching him scroll through things until he finds what he is looking for. the only thing he does wrong is that he double taps when selecting something almost as though he is using a PC and a mouse.
She has never nuked my town, but on a couple occasions has spent all my donuts. lol
She would always use them to quickly advance the scratch-off ticket, so that she could do the scratch off over and over again. The scratch-off was by far her favorite part of the game.
I have not spent a single dime on the game, so no money was lost. It was just the free donuts I had racked up. So it wasn't a huge amount of donuts.
She now knows not to spend daddy's donuts haha
Same goes for my FG clams.
She's pretty good at finding the elves though
