I think I got to level 15, then stopped really trying. Not spending donuts for a different color cannon.

May I ask how it was earned without the use of donuts?

I was about 80 cogs short of Level 16. As I finished second on my friends leaderboard I repeat what I said on another thread. I wonder if EA will tell us exactly how many of the registered players actually achieved Level 20 - I'm not holding my breath!

Level 17. It took me 3 days to get from 16 to 17. After that, I was too burnt out to try for 18.

I was able to upgrade my cannon to Level 22. I spent about 250 donuts upgrading cannon when I got closer to levelling up during Levels 17-22. Since I finished event about 10.5 days early, I was able to just focus on collecting cogs.

As many above me, I got to level 16 on my cannon.

I was ~60 cogs from L17, but didn't even consider holding out for cogs and not updating once it was possible to end the event. It was only after that for a brief moment I thought to myself "Self, maybe you could have got enuf cogs to update to L17 ... Naaahhh" :roll:

My biggest frustration and only real problem with this event was the lack of elves. *ESPECIALLY* the last week or so... They just dried up completely. For most of the phase I was at the top of my leader board, fighting with one friend back'n'forth for 1st/2nd place... I finished so far down, I stopped paying attention (like 20th place?). My cannon was constantly ready, but unused due to not having any elves to fire.

C'est la vie! It's over now, and I got all the prizes (well, unless you count the Gold Cannon, which I did not get).

Level 15. I was still about 400 cogs short of 16 on the last day so I stopped even trying and just let the elves party while I relaxed a bit.

So did anybody actually get the Golden Cannon?
