I'm glad to have a break

I've been enjoying my time off since the X-mas event ended.

But I am also looking forward to the next update... whatever it ends up being.

I'm looking forward to new levels and episode tie-ins. I'm getting bored of the regular things like Valentines Day and Saint Patrick's Day. Same old, same old.....

I've also been using the time between events to do a complete rebuild/redesign of my Springfield as it needed to be sorted out, it's been great to just take my time on the design and redesign at times and my town now looks so much better for it, before Christmas it was starting to look like all the buildings had just fell from the sky after Homer blew it up everything was just getting dumped anywhere there was a space now I actually have a bit of empty ground, what a surprise

This "break in the action" has been very energizing!

Since I don't have to log into the game "every x hours" during some event, I really love taking it easy. Today, I went to my feeder town and bought a bunch of land (I didn't buy anything during the holiday event and let the currency pile up.) The next thing I knew, 3 hours had passed and I was blissfully moving pixels from one part of the screen to another.

Awesome fun!

yea it can still be a pain on those days i just dont want to play but i have to atalest come on for handshakes and viset neighbors.

I feel the same way in-between events. I think I'm just so intense during events that I need some time to breath and even take a break for half a day.

I would like a level update b/c that's pretty easy going. I am very happy to have a break from an "event." Halloween, Clash of Clones, and Christmas over the past few months...I wouldn't mind if we were event free until next month. Just give us a nice level update to tide us over until then.

I'd prefer if they made the "events" smaller/shorter. I'd rather have less big events, and just more of the little ones that don't involve spending every waking minute on this damn game. I'm glad for ALL breaks from the major, and repetitive, events. I get why they have to do the same type of thing over and over, for new players, but the last few holiday events have been pretty tedious.

I like the breaks between events, and it's nice to have the time to start getting more in-depth decorating done. Plus it's also nice to finally get the chance to pad your bank account keeping all of the characters busy.

I know it's not entirely possible but it would be nice if they would give us a new level in between events, I'd rather take the break between level updates in October-December rather where the events are piled up rather than during January and February where they can keep us occupied.

Definitely agreed. I like getting the extra money and appreciate not having to log in every 4 hours right now.

Looks like I'm not the only one using this quiet time for redesigning.

I've picked up a few new buildings and characters with doughnuts from the Gil sale at Xmas and have been running their questlines. Other than that it's a little nice being able to just kick back and go into cruise mode. Looking forward to some more of those bonus donuts in a couple days
