They are thinner now. I'm not too happy with this. They don't seem to line up at the corners.
Why on earth would they do this when the item has been in use for so long? I really hope they change this back; it's made a mess in several places, most particularly with the maze behind my Calmwood Mental Hospital. Thing took hours for me to make (giggling the whole time).
You're grumpy, aren't you? If so, that's the best maze I've seen in TSTO, as well as one of the best towns, hands down. Sad that I can just sneak in now and get my Laramies with ease.
Yes, that's me. Thank you for the kind words. Nice to know someone's noticed; most of my neighbors appear to be feeder accounts so I don't know if many are doing a lot of sightseeing.
I really hope they revert the change, else I will have to bulldoze the thing. At least it will free up some land. :?
Nooooooo!!!!! Don't bulldoze! Let's hope this is fixed soon. I have been a maze/labyrinth enthusiast since the age of 5 at least. Your labyrinth has all the qualities of a well planned maze. Many choices, misdirection, long dead-ends, and only one true path to the finish, which winds all over the field.
Oh the books I could show you. Oh, the mazes I have created over 40 years. Oh... Oh don't you dare destroy the Calmwood-Laramie maze until we know that EA has stopped giving a spit.
I have been through your labyrinth turn by turn, inch by inch, practically pixel by pixel. Exploring every misleading turn, and I must say; it is perfect, and glorious, in every way. And, were I to create it, and possibly when I do create one, I will be giggling as well. The Madcap Laughs!
But, while I can, I'm gonna go grab me some easy ciggies from your Laramie machine before it's too late.
As well as some more sightseeing. I always sightsee. If you see my name on three buildings close together (brown houses, all in one area? *shudder*) that aren't some of my faves (Willie's, Lemon, Otto's bus, Temple, Blocko, Mapple, Butterfats, First Church, etc.), then you know I was in a hurry. I sometimes tell myself, "Self, you gotta hurry!", and yet I spend time trying to find the Tappables I like anyway. A) It lets me explore towns and appreciate/learn from them get to know them better for future visits (like studying for a test), and C) let the town's designers know that someone appreciates their hard work and imagination that went into designing it. We're a collective of artists, most of us, not just game players.
I'm not in any way saying anything against quick tappers in my SF. On the contrary, I appreciate all 100 of my Neighborinos, and completely understand the effort it takes to get through a Friend's list in a day. In fact, my perusing and sightseeing might not be the best for my Neighbors, as it prevents me from hitting all 100 in a day.
So, grumpywrath, check the ratio of Calmwood handshakes that pop up as 'smohqy'... That's always my first stop in your SF, and has been for at LEAST six months.
Imagine building your very own house with the materials at hand. Taking your time to make everything just the way you want. Moving in and making yourself at home. What a great feeling!
Then one day you wake up, and your walls are no longer connected. The cold wind blows over you as you're waking up. The rain seeps in. And, well, your house just isn't what you planned and worked hard on.
I know, quite dramatic compared to a game, but some people have put a lot of time into designing their towns with the materials given to them. Some, a LOT of time.
I only hope that this was a mistake rather than yet another slap in the face to loyal players/customers.

Have you posted a screenshot of your maze (now that it's back to normal, hopefully)? I'd love to see it; I love Tapped Out mazes.

Took me an hour to redo the thin walls and it gets reverted back to normal...****? Glad EA changed it back though because I did not like the change from the start.
Some of the things they change are so short lived, and for changes that make no sense. That time could be used to better other aspects of the game. There could be more time spent on easing gameplay(lag, added functions, more thorough checking of updates for bugs, server security, to name a few, I know there's plenty more). I don't have too bad of issues most of the time.

Thanks for posting! That is amazing (and clever with the Laramie machine). I love it.
Thanks very much! I'll show your comment to my wife. She thought I was crazy when she woke up next to me at 3 AM and saw I was building a maze. Well, I suppose I was crazy but still...

Peace, Love and Light.
Though between the old brick wall and the new brick wall with matching corners, I would pick the latter.
