Why'd you choose your nickname?

When I joined pogo, I was on this kick that queens have paperwork and a goddess doesn't. Then I had to use a suggestion. Seemed easiest to stick with something close with that company, although I'm hardly on pogo anymore, aside from the app.

In high school I was a stoner. Dom is the first three letters of my name and is gone cause I was stoned all the time. It just kind of stuck... Even now I don't smoke. Haha

    Seems lame now.

I don't think there's a Julia from the 90's who wasn't called "Julia Gulia" by every other person they met ("Julia? As in... Julia Gulia?") for a full decade after "The Wedding Singer" came out. Let's just say that it became extremely annoying after a couple of years, but is now funny in retrospect. I once created a Roman theme in a game I played for a few years, and as empress, dubbed myself "Julius Gulius" as a throwback-joke. The downside of continuing to use the alias, is that everyone always assumes I'm a guy. Screw it, I like the name. :)

I forgot to put o's and put 0's instead, so the jingle is pointless now.

    ...roflmao!

So you never even planned associating your name with poop?

Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy. Well OP you asked for it. You want the story of my user name and oh boy are you going to get it. Are you ever going to get it. I think at the end of this story you're going to be wishing you never asked. I could give you the short version but where's the fun in that.

To understand my user name you have to go back to, oh say, 1998 or 1999. The exact year escapes me but it was before the turn of the century when it happened. Yes, I realize there was no Tapped Out back then nor was there a right and proper iTunes. You see the story of my user name on the EA forums is actually the story of my name on the entire internet. Back in the days of dial-up 14.4kps AOL dominated busy signal internet I was mainly into two things, Sailor Moon and Samurai Troopers or as we Americans knew it Ronin Warriors. In those days I used to jump around the AOL image boards looking for interesting Sailor Moon images to use in my scrap book of interesting stuff I collected like funky labels off boxes and cool tags with fun shapes attached to clothing.

So there I was one day hopping around the old anime image boards on AOL when I came across something that struck my eyes. You see being the fan of Ronin Warriors as I was at the time I was really into Sage Date with his green Halo armor and the mixed up English version virtue of Wisdom. On a particular board posting for Ronin Warriors I came across a image from a magazine or movie souvenir book from an original Samurai Troopers movie featuring a young Sage Date. I liked it quite a bit and thought it was quite cute. Something about it struck a chord with me but not enough to inspire me yet. Then I saw this little picture of a young Sage struggling during his training. That had me wanting both it and the first picture and sealed the deal for me. I was hooked on little Sage. I was hooked on little Halo. I was hooked on Chibi Halo. I was hooked to the point where I thought, "You know what I like green, I like Sage, I like his Halo armor, I like him as a little thing, and I like the whole wisdom virtue. I'm a little thing too just like him in those pictures." Next thing I know I'm creating the AOL name of chibihalo2 for my e-mailing and never looked back. And from then on whenever I went to any new website I was either Chibihalo or Chibi Halo.

So when signing up for any website now I always look to see if there's already a Chibi Halo or Chibihalo on the site before I join. If I can't be Chibi Halo or Chibihalo on any site I go to it just doesn't feel like me to be honest. I've been Chibihalo in some form or another on the interwebs for over thirteen years now. And that's my story. I warned you it was a long one.

If you ever watched Yogi Bear as a kid there was an episode where yogi watches a show with "Bat Guy".. A sort of fat super hero in a batman costume

The best line in the show was when bat guy says.. " kids.. I wear a mask so i can be replaced....so send in those box tops..."
    Is there anyone out there?

I was posting as amcenaiko before because am are my initials and cenaiko is my last name, but then I thought maybe I shouldn't use my real name. Snake-o is close to how you pronounce my last name. S-uh-nay-ko.

Then why did you not call yourself HWoolf? Who is Wolff? You've come across all Ralph Wiggum.

Edit: I believe you mean Virginia Euwer Wolff the American children's author and not Adeline Virginia Woolf, the English writer of such classic works as Mrs Dalloway? (Look at how clever one can make oneself appear with a quick look at Wikipedia)

I've used this handle for years. I earned the nickname Fraggle in high school/college because I have big, red hair and I dance like a Muppet when I drink too much.
