Is witch Marge working more then once on corn now? Is used to be that she was glitched and only worked once (subsequent times would initially show that time was taken off, but would later reset.)
I saw this suggestion last night too (on the Addicts website) and planted scorn as well
Worked out it will finish on May the Fifth. Assuming it's not auto-completed by an event, a few spells by Marge the Witch will get me some Jedi corn, so it's all good.
ETA: well I was going to correct a typo but it's made me smile
... Especially if we all start insulting you for your decision to plant it.
I have only planted twice so haven't done yet - think I will do after my crop is ready.
Is this true or a fake rumor? I planted corn after i saw this, but now I got Brandine and need to plant tomacco, and don't know whether to cancel it or not? I don't want to wait 80 more days before i can do Brandine's quests, and I don't want to cancel it if it finishes early because of an event. :?:
I was Googling something and came across a webpage that advised planting corn right now because the Valentine's update might require you to plant something and whatever was growing would auto-complete.
I've already done it. I figure it can't hurt to try. I can always:
A: just let it grow and not have to deal with the farm for the next three months
B: store the farm
Plus I have Marge the Witch in my Premium game and could speed up the crop several times a day.

the OP specified this is based only on past event's experience, vs. "Foreshadowing speculation" based on some insider knowledge.
Do your Brandine tasks and have fun with your new premium character. Don't worry about the corn.

This is entirely based on what I read on another website.
If it's any consolation I bought Brandine today as well (I was saving for Frink but got talked into Brandine in another thread) and now I have to decide whether or not to trash 10 days worth of corn growth (and the $9,000 it cost to plant) or just live with my decision...

Given the lack of a Valentines event, it is already mocking me every time I tap past the farm. Stupid scorn.

Stupid scorn in February, then next month, lousy Smarch weather!

Of course! Corn is a vegetable!
Thanks
