I like real bakery doughnuts, or homemade ones, but not the cheap mass produced kind. I prefer chocolatines actually. Yumm.

I like the sugar jelly, or a nice hot glazed -- I'm not saying the word so I don't get reprimanded on the spelling...

Oh god yes! There is a bakery by my house that makes them with maple icing. Hulhlhlhlhhhumh (my best attempt at homer's drooling noise).

You know what, forget what I just said, I'm all in for fresh doughnuts, which I would prefer over ANYTHING at Dunkin Donuts!

I can take them or leave them. But I could have my Canadian citizenship stripped away if I admit I don't go to Tim Hortons so don't tell anyone.

Living in the D, Tim's pastries are ok. Their coffee is horrible. But nothing beats a fresh, hot Krispy Kreme right off the line.

Not my breakfast of choice, but good on occasion. My favorite around Denver is Lamar's. Krispy Kreme and Dunkin are also good.

Don't worry Roonil, I won't tell. Fellow Canadian here who doesn't go to tim's. I don't get why ppl would go there when you can go to a real cafe/bakery.

there's a place up in Castlerock that makes those. They make all kinds of crazy stuff, but there's one I really want to try. A hamburger smothered in green chili with grilled cheese as the bun. Mmmmm.

Voodoo doughnuts is the famous donut establishment in these parts for their crazy donuts!! The maple bacon bar is pretty damn good, and someday I need to try the 'old dirty *'

I'm broke as d!¢k so I have to eat cheaply. Wawa has 6 donuts for $3, and they're all super freshly made and amazing. So me and my fiance each get three. I only ever get regular glazed; pretty much the only "vanilla" or plain thing I prefer over something extravagant, ha. I used to love old fashioned blueberry, but I got sick of it.
I like to "re-fry" them on the stove- make one side's sugar Caramelize, then the other side is fluffy and hot. The caramalized side gets hard and compresses layers of dough, sugar, and glaze into a delicious crunchy disc... Yeah.
My eating habits are strange, I've only eaten breakfast food or candy for the last like 6 years. (I only weigh 110lbs, just for face saving's sake. Although everyone has seen a picture of me so I guess that's not necessary.. Okay whatever.)

    As a very occasional snack.

And I prefer them from small bakeries/donut shops as they are higher quality. Chocolate or Sourdough.
