Like others, I also did some recently spring cleaning of inactives. Got lots of room for new friends now!

Can anyone advise how to delete the inactive players? I'm selecting it on my phone, but it says an error occurred when trying to unfriend and I can't delete a single one :-/

The server that handles the social side of things is currently listed as 'limited service' on the Origin server status webpage. Its been up and down like this for weeks now. Only thing is to keep trying and hopefully it will respond for you sometime over the next few hours.
