I live near San Francisco, where you could drive for half an hour to find parking. So in my town, I build a massive two level parking structure with white fences. There's a KEM on the second floor. If I can't get decent parking in my real town, I'll damn we'll have it in my fake town!
Yes have several parking lots and smaller parking zones made from a mix of parking spots and the grey pavement so that I can actually park cars in them.
Here and there. Adds a nice touch to something like Krusty burger with some cars added for good measure. 360 rotation is way long overdue for this decoration.
I've added a few, mainly in places where a building has an awkward space around it that I don't know what else to do with. Although funnily enough, most of my parking spaces are in my pub/bar zone and outside the Duff Brewery. Apparently my Springfield encourages drinking and driving. Thank goodness there are no cars.
I use them for most of the municipal buildings and stores/restaurants. It just doesn't look right to me not to have them, I mean Springfield is in the USA, and the entire worlds knows we are just one big parking lot full of gas guzzlers!
I like to use them in my town to make it look more realistic, but now I'm being forced to get rid of them because of the huge land restrictions. It's a sad time for big town designers.
It would be nice of we could actually park cars in the parking spaces :? And also drive cars on the roads, a argument we've had since day one of this game
