    I can't take credit for the using the benches for stairs. I saw that somewhere
    Yours look really cool. I like all the designs you've created. In fact, this entire thread is awe-inspiring.

    You may have seen
    <a href="http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/175/9233534.page#26737021">kidENO's "My love Burns for You"</a> photo of the Burns Mansion for the inspiration, maybe. That was the first time I'd seen this particular effect, anyway.

    cool! I like the building, and the car park is like an optical illusion, until you said it was a drop down I just saw a fence wall!

    Nice hedge work Simpson0001 but does that not cause severe crashing?

    Oh yeah, lots of crashing up there. I've got no need to hang around my city anymore, so it's not a major issue for me. I don't need to collect anything, and just pop in to reset character tasks when I can. I would not have tolerated the crashing if I were still grinding through tasks and trying to play more frequently. Now that I've got a solid city setup I like, I'll probably destroy it soon, and just do fun things. That's how this started; I just wanted to mess around with itunesbabe's "Hill House", and also bring my Springfield Sign and Volcano Lair away from the mountains. It turned into a city setup that I love about 90% of. I'll probably mess around for a while, then try to slightly tweak the design when the snow is gone, and piece together another full city shot.

    Very cool - I wonder if the 3d effect would be better if you had less rows of hedges on the back sides of the sign mountain - because if it were a hill you wouldn't be able to see all of the other side? Not sure how practical my suggestion is - just a thought!

    This is my one 3D effect in my town. I tried to make it look like the dock leads underneath the platform.

    Zoe, that's a great suggestion! I've been contemplating tearing down my city (or big parts of it) so I can have some more fun, and I think I will be utilizing that idea when I put it back together.

    @Jehenyen - very cool sub-entrance!
