It's probably unlikely that they would, even though it would be pretty cool. My reasons for saying that are basically Family Guy will pull in anything they want, both show and game, while TSTO sticks with what the show has done. The show doesn't often pull in outside stuff, which is unfortunate for the game.

They did do X-Files once, and that show is coming back for a short run soon. I think that would be a perfect thing for them to do.

I doubt there will be a Star Wars event ever. Why? Because now Disney owns Star Wars and there is no way they will allow anyone to make money on SW.

EA has the rights to do it for Star wars Battlefront but that doesn't mean they can just make a star wars event for Simpsons they would have to pay for it which they won't do

Yes, I get that the Simpsons make their own parodies of popular shows (Happy Little Elves=Smurfs etc), but after several references to the Star Wars franchise over the years and even an episode which heavily features Mark Hamill... I think the whole Cosmic Wars episode was just ill-thought out. Still not as bad as the one where Homer was apparently in a grunge band in the 90s though...

Yes! I prefer show related events because I like the show.

I would add some sort of event around the lefttorium and parking validation. There would be a premium character available who has one 6 second task: asking ned to just stamp the ticket. Cost: 175 donuts.

EA doesn't own Clash of Clans but they found a way to make a parody of it.

Having said that, I wouldn't want a Simpsons Star Wars event. That definitely belongs in the realm of Family Guy.

The Family Guy game makes everything a cash grab. You can't really finish an event without spending a lot of money. That is undoubtedly at least in part to licensing fees they end up paying. We are lucky that Tapped Out hasn't gone that route and it is possible to play through an event without having to buy $50 in donuts. The trade-off isn't worth it for me. I stopped playing Family Guy because the celebrity laden events were more frustrating than fun unless you have the disposable income to drop on it.
