When you spend $99.99 on it last night justifying the purchase in your head so it feels ok even though you never spent that much money on a single console game.

I had a dream last night and even though the main part of the dream wasn't Tapped Out related, in the dream I had to order a bunch of people to do things and I was freaking out trying to determine their best start times, lengths, end times, etc (in order to maximize productivity).

Welcome to the dark side!

I have spent $99.99 before and while its more money than a single console game, it more than makes up for it when you consider that youll finish multiple console games before you run out of content in the game.

You also know you play this game too much when you take frequent trips to the bathroom to check on your games progress during the day :)

When you are late for your own wedding because you wanted to get the final prize in the Halloween event... And constantly remind your wife it's her fault you didn't...

Well, I certainly can't beat the wedding related situations (ha!!!!!) but I recently switched the payment method on my account from our joint debit to my own credit card so I could buy donuts without my husband always seeing how much I spend on them. It's the ONLY purchase I make that I don't like to tell him about because, well, it's weird telling a non-player that you're buying donuts to work on your town.

I told my 7 year old that the tablet was dead and she couldn't play on it because I knew I had jobs up in about 20 minutes. I felt horrible but I tapped away...when she wasn't looking.

I panicked when I realized that I forgot to set the timer for when to collect from my town. My resource collection will be off schedule and I won't be able to collect as much as I could have. Oh what an unmitigated disaster!

...when you have to hide your tablet under the desk every time the boss walks past
......when you ask for Google Play vouchers for birthdays, Mothers Day, Christmas etc.
........when you ask for doughnuts instead of an Easter Egg
..........when you don't go to bed until gone midnight because you actually had to do some work at the office which mucked up your schedule
...............when your really pleased that your youngest is off school sick and you have to take the day off work to look after him
.....................when you've finished all your daily tasks by lunchtime because you've been up all night with a sick child.

Yes, most of these have happened during this event.

It becomes a knee -jerk reaction to reach for your phone on your side table upon waking...so much so that your doing it in the middle of the night when you are half awake, and in the morning wondering how you ended up holding your cel!

When your cat wakes you up at midnight to be fed, you aren't angry because it helps get the daily tasks done. Especially when its the 20 hour long task list.

When the timer on the oven goes off and your kids are yelling, "Mom! The timer! Dinner is ready!" But you're trying to set tasks, so you tell them that it was set so that once the timer buzzes there are still at least five or ten minutes until the meal is actually done...............and then pray it doesn't burn as you continue to tap.

Does anyone else notice that according to ths thread, we're lying to our husbands, wives, parents, children, and bosses? What's even more troubling is that each tactic seems rational to me. Often, i find myself thinking "Wow. That's a good idea."

When you not only dress up you're springfielders in different outfits but you make an outfit of you're favorite springfielder and the custom costume they are wearing in real life and act out that task in you're living room.

Hopefully the curtains aren't open and the neighbors don't take it out of context

......you find yourself logging into Springfield on your day off, on the hour, every hour (or even more by mid afternoon as everything gets delayed a few minutes every hour when your sending everyone off on tasks!! Thanks Terwilligers!)
.....you wake up in the dead of night thanks to the cat, but don't mind as you get to squish some clones (Thanks again Terwilligers)
.....your late getting to bed but stay awake until midnight to get a head start on a 16 hour cecil task day! (Terwilligers!!)
.....your late off your break at work because of Terwilliger task setting........and you sneak off at various times during your shift as you need to catch that Ceil task!

Still a happy Tapper though!!!
