Hot. Soooo....hot...
Not good for your water situation, I imagine...
Toronto is looking at 20ish degrees (72 Fahrenheit) and sun this weekend - pretty much perfect!

Oklahoma's only in the 70's with a nice breeze going through so it's just perfect. :P Though once summer really starts we'll be feeling your pain.
come to NZ Wij - Winter is beginning
NZ sounds great!
I am!!! It was like 96 yesterday...!! and all we have is a swamp cooler....
Saw on the weather channel that we were 60% likely for rain yesterday afternoon all the way through today. Made my son move my desk to face the window, opened the window just like you, put on a sweater, and spent the time a Happy Camper. It only rained a few hours, but enjoyed every minute of it. Have seen no rain today, even though it says "100%" chance on the main page for our zip code, in the hourly details, it's lower ... But 55% chance of thunderstorms later .. Which I LOVE except the little dog is psycho about it so I have to put Aretha at earsplitting volume to keep him calm. (Humming "Natural Woman" in preparation.)
(BTW, does anyone know the difference between "partly cloudy" and "mostly sunny"? I can't figure it out.). Also, if chance of rain is at 5% and projected humidity for that same time is at 100%, that doesn't sound right to me ... Wouldn't 100% humidity be water? Like, rain? Also, how can it show " rain" and 65% humidity at the same time?
Have rented for over 25 years (moved twice in that period ...). Every one of our landlords would come out to fix something that was potential large-scale long-term damage to their home right away. Plumbing, termites, and leaky roofs would get their immediate attention.
Minor stuff waits ... We always convince them to make a deal -- all year, we keep a list of little irritants like cabinet hinges and windows that stick and loose tiles in the shower and walls that could use some fresh paint, and at the end of the year they send out the workmen to fix it all at one time.
But a landlord who ignores a leaky roof is, IMHO, an idiot. Even if he doesnt give a crap about his tenant. He's ignoring the chance of major damage to his own house.
Oh wait, your were talking about the weather
