Not sure if you're referring to my post (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9250690.page#26822018), but I'll repost here anyway:

The developers need to make tapping a character in the collections menu center the screen on that character (like tapping their mission icon already does).

This problem should be as simple to solve as tapping Homer on this screen:

I'm not trying to be a nuisance, but the menu already exists, as does the code to center on the character. It is probably the simplest feature possible to add, and would make so many customers (especially paying ones who have more characters) happy.

Ok EA has a lot of games in the market , therefore there servers are always damn busy 24/7 due to online multiplayer. the crashings happen, hell even with other companies who just have a few games there damn servers go down. It really depends which game and in what console is been played honestly . Example fifa 13 ps3, connections issues all the time. It doesn't surprise me that simpsons tapped out due to its popularity is having the same issues. I haven't crashed that much, so I have no complaint but I do agree they should increase servers capacity and bug improvements.

NeoSEC28' I know. I was aware of the thread. No one has seemingly we ever suggested that we write to EA n suggest these two topics. I just wanted to create the new thread to have a better chance of others noticing this specific thread and hopefully participate. Melodyhodge, just as Neo pointed out from the other thread, we already have a perfect list that could be used!

I think that it would fall on deaf ears, EA doesn't love us.

Josh, you are hostile. May I request that you. Show me an exact thread that implies that we Actually write an email to the 'office'.

am4692, I believe if we all united and bombarded EA with emails for a week straight about these two woes, we may be golden? The crashing thing is my foremost topic of discretion. When in my own Springfield, I do not have many problems. Visiting others, when I get a certain distance in 'visiting my neighbours' process, I get kicked outta my game. (boourns!) If we all decided on one week where made a vow to email them once a day, how could we not be heard?

I am sure we are not the only game of theirs that has this same problem. Why not even explore the possibilities of getting the other versions of us to help us with this dilemma. Get them on the same week band wagon! We would definitely be noticed!!! It would be impossible for them to ignore us.

An EA manager's thought process on receiving all the emails:

Oh, they want us to fix the game's problems? I never thought of that!

We should be able to to that in a bout a week or so, because obviously we don't have anyone working on such things, and fixing bugs doesn't require crawling through thousands of lines of code, implementing "fixes" that often destabilise the game worse or just plain old problems that would require a complete re-write of the basic operation and interaction of the code.

    Thanks for the help, community!

We all know things need to be fixed. But pounding them with emails is going to take away time they have to fix actual problems people have. I got an email back yesterday for a ticket I filed in early November. In that matter, complaints will unfortunately fall on deaf ears.

This email idea came up in a thread over a week ago. I then emailed them and told them my game crashes after a couple of minutes on a new, fully updated mini iPad. Yesterday I got a response with the standard list of tricks, things I had mentioned that I already had tried with no luck. I emailed back and said that I understood how busy they were, but it was disappointing to receive a boiler plate list of fixes that did not address my issue. That caused me to then almost immediately get three responses, one from the original rep who said he personally wrote every email (guess I offended him with my boiler plate crack), the other two from a different rep linking to two FAQ articles on the EA website that are also of no help for this specific crashing issue. I loved the reaction time, but the help is just not there, so I give up.

Actually just annoyed that these threads pop up everyday. I could care less what your method and I really don't need to pull up all the threads about this same issue

Yeah. We can't have these kind of threads (which are repetitive to the older posters, but which lead to informative posts like Doug's above) pushing important threads like the "what are you doing?", "what'd you have for dinner?", "what's your favorite Ninja Turtle?", and "whoopdie-fricken-doo, I just got randomly promoted!!!" off of the front page.

There is nothing at all informative about this thread. If you want useful information, try searching thru the forum about this topic and you will get some great tips. This is by now means an original thought by the OP. just some attention grabbing

Hey Josh, this post is incredibly informative. Perhaps not to the Message Board ****, but for those of us who aren't on the boards all day, every day, I appreciate that this thread led me to Doug's description of his interaction with EA.

If you don't like a thread, or find it repetitive, it seems counterintuitive to me to post in it, thereby raising back to the top of the board. Ignore it. No one is forcing you to read it.
