It costs 100 donuts, and you can find it in the "Characters" section of the Store (since it comes with Akira). I'm not sure if you need to be a certain level to unlock it though.

Nevertheless, you don't NEED it to progress with the quest, it's just an extra side quest. Sometimes they have those for Premium characters/items.

The level requirement is pretty unimportant since the original poster is already at the slaughterhouse level. The Happy Sumo is definitely a lower level than that.

It just adds an extra side quest as izabellatrix said. Once you're done with it, it gives Ralph a permanent 3-hour "prepare sushi" task. I think the task is premium since it takes place at the Happy Sumo, but my Ralph is busy right now so I can't double-check that.

It's a cool building. I have Akira making me another bonsai right now.

Akira ha's made me over 60 bonsais so far. And for some reason, whenever I open the store to buy something, "bonsai" is the item they show as my "recommended" item. They apparently think I'm going to pay 12 donuts for something Akira can make for free. (As if.)

I got Akira a little while back.. I never advanced past the second part of his questline because it's a task to send everyone to the Happy Sumo for one hour at a premium rate. If you don't do Akira's 2-hr task for this quest, you can keep that one hour premium task for every single character you have. So I don't know when I'll continue his quest. It earns me so much money when I'm checking in every hour.

Hmm, that's interesting. I can't remember if Akira's making the bonsai quest starts as you proceed with his storyline, or is available from the start. Are you still able to make bonsais?

It does pay out at a premium rate. It gives $200 for the 3-hour job; a non-premium 4-hour job pays $175.

1. That is BRILLIANT and I wish I'd read your post sooner! I'm on that quest right now since I just bought him yesterday, but I've already sent him on his 2 hour task.

Edit: I am however only using Helen for the 10 one hour Springfielder tasks, since she doesn't have her own 1 hour task. I'll get a little more cash this way, but nowhere near how much you're making!
2. No he can't make Bonsais at this point yet, so that would be the sacrifice.
