Bottom line: I like my Springfield nice with its 5-star rating!!!
And yet, instead of doing some research, or asking nicely how to keep your righteousness from falling, you scream about people who are actually being good neighbors by giving you a payout from a building that otherwise doesn't pay out. Also, cleaning graffiti raises righteousness, so they're giving you the opportunity to boost that rating.
Good luck with all that.
Yes, this ^.
For about 2 seconds I felt pretty stupid until some of my neighbors voiced up on this thread.
I've always thought I was doing my neighbors a favor by vandalizing. I can't tell you how much time I've "wasted" searching for buildings that can be vandalized. It turns out a couple of my neighbors on this thread are okay with the graffiti.
My general rule is. If you have more than 2 buildings that can be vandalise stood together they will be vandalised as I use the vandal glitch if they are far apart then I won't I've got 100 neighbours & I don't think I've lost any because I vandalise. All 4 of my spray cans are close together as it benefits me when they are tapped 1. I get cash from a non paying building 2. I get extra cash from neighbours that know they can tap 6 of my buildings. 3. I've got enough training walls that has kept me at 5 starts. Win win win.
I would like to rant about people who rant about people ranting. If someone wants to rant, why should a ranter rant about the ranter ranting when the ranter is ranting already? It makes me want to rant.

Hello neighbour
Just had to say I'm glad you don't mind me vandalizing. I don't either but I'm sorry if my buildings are too far apart - one day I will nuke and maybe do things differently but I probably won't put Moe's next to the school!
I can't believe this is such a touchy subject! It's part of the game play and you have the two options of 1) training walls or 2) have fun trying to get back that half star. If you don't like the game play then don't play the game.
I assume that if people have more than one building that can be vandalized placed near each other that they know about the glitch and are ok with me vandalizing as many as I can.
Thanks to my neighbours who have placed many together. FYI feel free to scroll a little north or up in my town to find 3 together.

Well, that's not really wholly truthful. Yes, it does give a payout from a building that doesn't normally, but you'd get the same amount of money from a building which does pay out in addition to the money you'd normally get, plus it resets the timer on the building, making your neighbor have less time to get another payout on that building. Also, yes, you do get a 1 point boost in righteousness from cleaning graffiti, but, you lose 5 points if you don't clean it within an hour of being sprayed.

Hello neighbour . Vandal away as much as you like. I think I manage to get 4/5 taps in your town if I'm quick enough & for some reason I seem to get donuts there regularly too which always makes me smile when I hear "mmmm premium currency" as I think it should say "mmmm donuts" instead, just for ur town of course . I would love to nuke but I'm scared of wrecking my town now
The more, the merrier...if a neighbour takes the time to visit my town then i think they are entitled to tap whatever they want.
I boosted my rating with the training wall idea from here a few months ago and have no problem now.
They can be used as regular walls if you want....place trees or shrubs to blend them in.
Really? I wish MORE people would vandalize my town. That way I'd get cash from buildings that don't normally generate cash. I vandalize in my friends towns for this reason. I can also sneak in more actions that way.

What?? You don't get extra payout from handshakes, just a reset timer. On brown houses and other tiny time buildings, you don't even get that. So no, you do not very the "same amount" as graffiti plus a building's payout. That's completely untrue.
So let me get this straight: We're not supposed to vandalize YOU, but other neighbors INSIST we vandalize them. Some neighbors don't want us to tap their radio stations/TV stations/farms/drive-ins, but others do. Some don't want the long-time renewing buildings tapped, others do.
You know what, I just tap what I want and is easy to get to. If you don't like it, then dump me. I don't want you for a neighbor if you're that picky, anyway. And any one of my neighbors may tap anything or graffiti all s/he likes.
Use training walls! They're cheap, and you can make a cool training ground with them. I did,

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around WHY the OP is so mad...
I can only think of two things after reading the first post.
1. The OP is OCD and hates not having ALL stars filled and/or hates the look of the vandalized building. This I actually understand.
2. It's a fiscal thing. The OP is mad about the .5% loss in revenue. This seems silly if it is the case. I'm pretty sure you'd make more from the revenue that you normally wouldn't get compared to the .5% loss...
I'm not super great at math but I'm not super bad either...
