I don't know the exact amount for the brown house with and without a handshake, but I currently have a handshake on a Kwik-E-Mart, and conveniently on Moe's as well. Clearing Moe's gives me $20/2xp. The handshake Kwik-E-Mart gives me $26/3xp, while the regular gives $7/2xp (a difference of $19/1xp, roughly what I got from Moe's).

This is what I mean about the multiplier affecting if the amount is exactly identical or not (I phrased that, how you say, inelegant.) The regular payout for a Kwik-E-Mart is $5/1xp, but with my multiplier of around 30% that makes it $6.5/1.3xp (and I guess it always rounds up?). The base payout for a friend visit is, math tells me, $15/1 xp. Alone, with a 30% payout is $20/2xp (Moe's), and when you add the base Kwik-E-Mart rent to it ($5/1xp+$15/1xp=$20/2xp) and with the 30% multiplier it's $26/3xp
Well, I'll be dammed. Anyone know how long it's been like that? Because I checked regularly when I started playing to see if handshakes did anything. Never got more money, just the timer reset.

So with all this being said, what's the final verdict? Is vandalizing hurting or helping a player? Does it matter the level they are at? I try to help my neighbors as much as I can. I often vandalize and since finding out the trick to do more, I use that as often as I can. I have always seen the vandalizing as being helpful since the neighbor gets money from a building it would 't normally.
I don't think I would vandalize a player who is below level 33, as they aren't able to build training walls to combat the loss in righteousness.

Sounds good neighbor. I guess i will have to start watching which neighbor is below 33. I don't think I have many. Personally I have never cared if my town gets vandalized. I play so often lately I have to remind myself to leave stuff for neighbors so the vandalized buildings help provide an extra tap.

P.S., I love tacos too. Still having Mexican food withdrawals after moving from California to New England! :?

Sigh...yes, the best you can hope for is "tacos"
Best to switch to Mexican BBQ...got invited to a barn party...yum!
    Or colombian in Lowell, ma...
There are a few Mexican restaurants around but they tend to be Americanized. Mostly I just make my own. I've never tried Columbian. May have to check that out. Thanks for the tip! :D

Colombian food is pretty tasty! Check out pupusas, too; they're from El Salvador

I don't want to get between anyone and their "taco" but I just tapped two brown houses, one with a handshake, one without. I made the same revenue from both properties($23.)
I didn't get pics this time but I'll try again later.

Any neighbors of mine, please feel free to tap the low income buildings in my town. I want to get to the bottom of this.

Wait is there something new with handshakes that I'm not aware of (I didn't read the entire thread). Last I knew the handshakes only reset the timer of the building, nothing more.

There is discussion that the handshakes earn more than just the building normally. This would make the non income buildings the worst buildings to visit in a neighbors town. If his is the case.
They seem to work the same as they always have, at least in my town...
Maybe it's a time thing. If you get to it fast enough maybe you earn an extra bonus? I'm not convinced.

I just checked in a feeder town, I got one more xp on a tapped brown house and more than 3 times the cash. I'm guessing depending on our multipliers it's going to be different in everyone's town, I say that's great news till I remembered brown houses have the lowest payout of anything even with this new glitch. It didn't seem to work on my quick mart, so it's random buildings? What pays out the most? we need to try it with that and see what the payout is.

It's the same base payout for all buildings, I believe: $15/1xp (will change based on how the multipliers are applied)

It worked on my Kwik-E-Mart, I'm pretty sure it's the same for all buildings.

You don't even have to hide the training walls - with a little camo they (mostly) look like tall walls.

Ooh, that's pretty nice. I'm gonna copy that idea! I've got all my training walls hidden behind buildings, but why should they be hidden when they can be used like this.

Thanks! 2 more imperfect camos - why hide when the colors work great with some of the buildings!

Do either of these go well with coffee? Cause it's coffee first then nosh. But really I'd like donuts. Preferably pink with sprinkles.

Ewww. Marmite - I will never understand why people like that stuff! It's not something easy to find over here (it was never easy to find, but over the last 10 years it's gotten harder). A certain old British dad I know loves the stuff... I swear he keeps a list of places that carry it.

EDIT: Right - the thread... Different people play different ways. I personally don't care if I'm graffitied (in fact, I like getting the cash from the non revenue generating buildings). I just like it when people visit. But as mentioned above, if someone doesn't fit the way you like to play you can always delete them and find like minded neighbours who prefer to play the way you do - there's nothing wrong with having a preference.

Also keep in mind some of the graffiti may be accidental - when someone is in a rush it is easy to accidently tap things that they didn't mean to.

Rose, Avocado is much nicer than marmite, don't you think I eat them everyday
