should Neighbour Donuts be obtainable for those without all the Friend point prizes?

If you don't have 100 friends, you have no reason to complain. It's not like it's difficult to get friends, especially those posting on this forum.baddazoner wrote:after that it's when you have all the friend prizes which are hard to get if you don't have 100 friends

You only get FP for the first 30 friends or 90 actions if I recall correctly.
It does take a while to get to the end, but there are some awesome prizes along the way like Stampy.
You can do it!
Visit friends daily and you will be earning donuts sooner than EA will change the game.
starting the game now would be terrible with all the catching up you would need to do i honestly think a lot of people quit before they even get to the current level because they would have to grind like crazy and really there isn't that many donuts in it for them
not to mention the events that have been on and players have had to stop doing cash jobs to get crafting for the prizes like the last event
Action 1-30 = 10 FP
Action 31-60 = 5 FP
Action 61-90 = 4 FP
Action 91-120 = 2 FP
Action 121-300 = 1 FP
I don't recall the FP Prizes taking long at all. When you first start out, visiting friends is one of the best ways to earn cash and XP, so you're obsessively visiting all your friends anyway. Even in my feeder town, I only have 30 friends and I don't remember it taking very long.
I started playing at the end of Thanksgiving 2014, am now max level, have 5 stars in SF and KL and have had all the friends prizes for a couple of months. I have been a forum 'lurker' since the Xmas 2014 event when I started adding quite a few friends, currently at 100 friends.
I think that donuts are the reward for getting so far.
.... And thanks Jim in anticipation of the welcome to the forum!
(In B4 Jim can welcome me!)
In before Jim (at last  ). Welcome to the forum
I agree with everyine else. pay your dues and you will earn yourself extra donuts!
My friend started barely over a year ago, she's up on prizes and one level behind, less than a hundred friends and skips playing at all some days..... It's not that bad to catch up, and you still have things to do instead of hurrying up and waiting.
Regarding newbies, it is always hard for them in an established game, but eventually that is overcome. It's a long time coming but eventually you do make it to the top level and possibly even the bonus. It just takes time, which is what the game is all about: killing time.
+1
I think they should have random donut rewards with the random tasks. I have had the same one sitting in the task bar for months, and - like everyone else - I find them too bothersome.
I powered through all of the friend items. Really started to hit it during the Superhero event and finished up maybe a week ago. Now it's donut bonus time. Received +2 while tapping tonight.
I installed this a while ago, lost interest, then tapped on the icon one day when I was bored and... oh, this is actually a good game.
I really enjoy the challenge of trying to make up for the lost time. During the Terwilliger's event (when I started playing for real), I didn't have anywhere near enough characters to get most of the stuff people were talking about, but I got a couple 'souvenirs' and I'm good with that.
My quest lines are in no discernible order, but it simply adds to the enjoyment for me. I'm on level 25, quest-wise, somewhere in the 21 range, although I keep getting quests out of the blue that are not mentioned on any site for my level. This actually keeps it fun, because I am exactly the type of person who would look all this stuff up in the first place.
These 'neighbor donuts' I kept reading about, I did wonder why I was not getting any. It was actually only a couple of days ago when I figured out, it requires that Canyonero. And... that's a good thing. If it all came easy, I would probably drop the game.
I simply joined at a different time, with different challenges. I can't house farm for cheap, but I have access to several years of data that allows me to skip a lot of the 'trial and error'. That's one trade-off, I'm sure there are many others.
Sure, my goal of 'get to the end' is probably a long time away, but... I'm down for the ride. I don't want 'easy', I want something to work towards.
