Lost the coin toss 9 times in a row!!

For something that should be a 50/50 chance, that's just rediculous! :x

But, not statistically impossible! Just unlucky.

I've taken to calling it Krusty's less rigged coin toss.

You're not the only one, I'm on major losing streak with every game

How do you get to the coin toss? I vaguely remember something about one, but I forgot what it was for.

The coin toss is a thinly disguised wheel. People have been complaining about crafting so this is EA's revenge. But they aren't fooling me! I know they've got a wheel behind that spinning coin!

True, it is statistically possible. I just ran my own simulation of a coin toss 100K times and got a streak of 17 in a row. Granted the mean was 2 (as expected) and the standard of deviation was only 1.4. So yes, just extremely unlucky.

Coin toss happens when both players have the same star value.

When you're playing a tap ball game and your player has the same amount of stars as the other player it flips a coin to determine who gets the point

Okay thanks. I just give mine a dose of Brain & Nerve Tonic to make sure I win.

Same here. I'm assuming that it's just designed to encourage you to upgrade your players by making you lose most of the time.

I definitely don't feel it is a genuine coin toss with realistic statistics. I am losing 80-90% of all coin tosses. That's not even remotely realistic.

I've lost 24 out of 25 coin tosses and my last 18 in a row. That is just plain ridiculous.

I agree, and that's with me winning 80-90% of the coin tosses. I was expecting some losses in there, but most of my flips are wins.

Assuming a fair toss, the probability of getting a streak of n is (0.5)^n. So 9 times is just 0.00195.
But 24 is 0.0000000596. That last is some really bad (or good) luck.

    [Edit: That's 24 in a row. But 18 in a row is just 0.000003815 i.e. 4 in a million. :) ]

The funny thing is when you win the first two rounds outright. And then win a coin toss for round three. And then in the meaningless round four you win another coin toss. Feels like a wasted coin toss win.

I never understood why some sports don't allow resigning.

I'm a chess player by the way.

Lost the first 5 in a row. But since then I have won 5 out of 7. Still way below 50/50 though.
