1) buying balls to work towards the community prize
2) updating all players to 5 stars in order to win more games
3) crafting items like Obesotade in order to help players recover and win more games
4) crafting approximately 20 Stadium Fences so that I actually have a properly built stadium by the end of the event
seriously this event is unclear and all over the place :?
where are our priorities supposed to be???
I keep asking that myself, for me I've been upgrading my players to 5 stars. But as the event continues and ya get more players to upgrade its seeming like that's all I'll be doing.
Not an answer, but know your not alone in the confusion.
If this is unclear, i really wonder how you manage to get by in life... Everything is pretty obvious.
lol how so?
from what i see the best option is to craft stadium fences...this way i have an awesome stadium at the end of the event
and the other suckers can work towards the community prizes for me

The event isnt that unclear, but EA do presume you will be able to prioritise things yourself, which is good and easy to do.
Everyone should be buying balls to help the community (obviously if there is something you really want get that first, just don't be selfish)
You should only update players as far as is beneficial to you which is easy to work out.
And in my opinion obesotade is useless in the long run.

i disagree, the community prizes are awful...buying stadium fences is where it's all 8) otherwise we'll be left with half-finished stadiums that will need to go into inventory

Well I think it would be unfair for people to take the community prizes but barely contribute to achieving them, I want to get the duff truck and when we get it I'll still be helping to earn the final prize because its only fair.
And in my opinion the fences are a waste of time, I have used red brick walls around my stadium and I think they look better, but that's just my opinion.

It seems to me that you have a crystal clear idea of what you should be doing in this event.
EA wants our priorities to be buying donuts. Didn't they make that perfectly clear?
As far as fences go, I agree. They really should have made those available for in-game cash. I'm fine with everything else being event currency, but fences should always be readily available in bulk.
I don't have much of an interest in sports (introvert + nerd), so I'm not compelled to craft the fences. Most stuff apart from the obstacle course would be going into storage after the event. That being said, I find it ironic that I play regularly enough to have no need to rely on Obesotade and still be ahead of the difficulty curve.

Sports don't interest me either. But the fences look good and are quite versatile. If nothing else, they make great gates for other walls/fences.

Depends on what your goals are. Since you want those fence, it seems to me you should work to maximize your AB intake. See the strategy thread for ideas on that.

There is only one thing you need to do tapper...listen to your heart! It will NEVER guide you astray. Happy tapping!

5) stockpile amateur bucks in the hopes that the prices of everything will drop in the last days of the event, so you can get more for your money (and even if prices don't drop, you can still buy whatever you want with your mountain of ABs).

a variety of fences will always come in handy
i'm not the only player collecting fences either
if they wanted everyone to work towards a community prize they shouldn't have given fences as an option
