It's highly unlikely you will lose items... :?

I know there is a tiny chance of losing items, but all I wanna know is if you think this is a good time to do it. Moving items around will also just a huge mess which is why i wanna nuke.
So asking again, good time to nuke or think there will be an event soon? Remodeling will take some time...

I nuked right before the expansion. I think this is a good time to do it.
I'm working on Springfield Heights right now and since we have short taps, I can work on my nuked town at the same time.

Go for it and Happy Nuking!

I'm gonna save a few more millions to finish buying all the land and then have a major redesign

I nuked right before the expension, and it was a good thing, was just done with redoing the side of the mountains and trying to make it in levels. Turns out the tunnel of SH ends up next to my simpsons back yard ( that i tried to make look like a mansion) i did not know about SH before my plans. And now its all seems to fit!

Btw i never lost an item during a nuke

And like it is said before here, the short crafting time is good to work on SP when you wait.
