How are you guys getting there so fast?

I'm not even at the halfway mark. I'm sitting at 273 mil at the moment.

Having all the premiums, a good strategy out if the gate, and similarly addicted neghbors to compete with. I made it Saturday and it was a major grind. So far only 3 other neighbors made it so I don't think most players will get there for quite some time. I think halfway is still above average.

I reached a billion a few days ago without spending many donuts. I was on vacation for a week and did quite a bit of tapping. The modern mansion pays the most money and isn't hard to upgrade. I kept collecting furniture and buying jet skis. They cost 200 "furnitures" but you earn 300k per jet ski.

I had the premiums for chairs, coffee, mats and pills so that helped a lot.

Other than that an unhealthy amount of tapping. Just tapping every moment I could bare to do it.
I'm honestly pretty burned out but happy.

I'm sitting at 835 million. Constant tapping tapping tapping. I only have 2 neighbors ahead of me. I do have all the playable characters and a lot of time on my hands.

I hit it a few days ago. I was not feeling the best so I kept it up and tapped away in between resting.

I hit it yesterday. Legit without donut rushing. I'm pretty pleased with myself but on the other hand am embarrassed at how much I had to play to get there. Lol

Not quite there yet at 985 million so should not be too long, not spent any donuts to get there but definitely feeling tapped out from the tap, tap, tap to get the needed bits to upgrade the buildings, have upgraded all the mansions both old and new to level 5 but I've only upgraded 6 of the 10 business ctr, parking and condos as I like some of the lower version designs of those so I've got a single level 1, a level 2, a level 3 and a level 4 of each design to keep until they hopefully release the option to change the skins on those buildings to the preferred design of your own choice, it's definitely been a long grind to get there but I've basically just been tapping away while watching the tv and definitely looking forward to something different to do and the redesign that is going to have to be done but waiting for now to see what happens when what appears to be the monorail gets released.

Lol! I'm at 90M. I've been prioritizing land and actually doing a bit of design. I have all the land except one bit of beach and 2 bits of water so I can start laying stuff out I guess. 200 Mats then Ill start focusing on leveling up.

This is as good a time as any to mention that I'm really not wild that SH has turned the Tapped Out gameplay mechanism from "casual game" to "intensive time suck."

Hit the billion this morning. 6 of my neighbors did already. One got there in a couple of days and he has over 600,000 Blueprints...don't ask me how...

Anyway, now I am going to fill my storages up to 200 items each and then finish off the last of the upgrades. 9 buildings to go. I'll figure out what decorations I want, and hopefully be able to store the excess buildings soon. Then I can figure out how I want to design SH, but may wait. There is land up there waiting to be released! I have all the SH land now. Lots of grinding to go, but most is behind me now. I just know I'll need lots of pills.

Grind Grind Grind and the modern mansions pay out well and you can move ahead quickly by building those.
They also don't cost a lot of resources.

It's that last 100 million that gets tough---- if you're trying to keep an example building for each of the 5 upgrade levels. At the end it was like... Uh oh! Back to Business Center Level Fives!
