Is Brandine's new quest line worth losing a Spuckler child.

That's up for you to decide but I wouldn't speed her up. Did so myself using 13 donuts; Got the money and experience but didn't get the message that I got another Spuckler. Haven't seen it wander around town either

Yea, I stopped her pregnancy during Brandinegate. I started it again as soon as possible. Birthed one Spuckler. Set her again and this pops up 42 days in.

I posted in another thread. I rushed for 13 donuts, but no spunkler. Searched and searched. So I contacted EA and they gave me back the 13 donuts and an add'l 50. But now I still have the task to "Birth another spunkler". So I'm not sure if it was "worth" it or not.

Brandinegate all over again. I have 20 days to go for her. Do I want to spend 8 donuts? No so I think I'll wait seeing as the event is 30 odd days and I have 20 days to go till baby S. comes.

Ugh. This happened to me too - looks like we spent the same amount too.

So glad she's not expecting right now. I had planned to start the next Spuckler on August 18th so that the birth would coincide with my birthday. I was also a victim of Brandinegate. I ended her pregnancy just 1 day before they sent a patch to bypass her. :evil:

You should probably not rush Brandine. Add me to the list of people who paid donuts to rush and got no Spuckler kiddo in return. I contacted EA support and got a "your case has been escalated email" but in the mean time, I am out donuts and a Spuckler.

Just got off the phone with EA - they restored my donuts, but were unable to add the Spuckler (as there are 3 of them they said it may cause other issues to occur if they just added a Spuckler).

If you have the option to receive a call back then select that - I find that getting a callback often gets better results and is more efficient than the live chat or email option, as the callback centre seems to be able to connect with people higher up in the support team chain.

If you do not have the call back option, try live chat.

After rushing and not getting the new Spuckler, I contacted EA and was given all three Spuckler children (this would have been number 2 for me).

Welcome to the forum! I see this is your first post!

I'm glad they resolved the issue for you - that is really the best outcome. I already had 2 Spucklers, so I guess they figured it was more complicated adding the 3rd and decided to just give me the donuts (which was also really nice, but I would have loved to have gotten the 3rd Spuckler).
