Nuke or not?

If you decide to nuke do a few things first:
- Go around your town and individually store premiums and unique limited time items (better safe than sorry)
-Maybe write down a list of things too
-If you have "zones" in your town like I do, mark them out with things that don't store (Simpson house, lemon tree, debris, SH buildings etc.)
-When you have nuked pull out a lot of your buildings and put them close to the projects board so neighbours have something to tap and therefore won't unfriend you.

That's call I think of

@aidx, thanks for the tips! I never tought of saving premium items before nuking, i will do that now if i nuke.
I do have zones and pull out most building straight after a nuke in place them in that zone.
Also i try a to make a message with the hedges before the nuke so my neighbours know it to bare with me a while

I nuke a few time a years, having more items, more land and more ideas how to put them i prefer to nuke instead of moving it around piece by piece. Usually a nuke 3 to 4 times a year. don't know if its much, when i was younger i played the sims a lot ( and a mean A LOT) and there i also kept on making new houses en after a while break them down and start all over again!

This time it is short after the last one, i just nuked right before SH. But i m not quite happy with some parts of it.
Sometime i wish you could select a zone or something and just nuke that instead of everything. Or pull houses in Storage, or all trees ect.

with all the glitches in SH and Monorail do you think this is a safe time to nuke?
Just a thought to consider. I would assume since you can't store in SH a nuke's
not going to do anything there.

I just nuked and am currently in the process of trying to figure a new layout with the monorail expanding all the time. One thing I did notice, my bonus xp/money meter was near 50%, with everything back on the map, I'm barely over 40% :? Make a note before you commit. :shock:

That's why i'm in doubt... But also not happy with my sf now :? Well not with most areas... And would like to put the monorail somewhere else but like hughejars says since its still expanding its difficult.

I think i wait untill after the event... But its so close to halloween then...

i pulled the trigger..needed to clear and clean, SO FAR the only thing i am missing is the opera theatre, pulled all bonus stuff and premiums all seem to b in tact

someone here nuked back when it was a new feature, believe it may have been Anna, and she found 7 extra Mayan calendars in her inventory. I only every wanted to nuke for that reason but she was the only person to date that got that lucky.

I nuked once I got Ray, and mine was at like 366%, but when i put it all back it was -4%. turns out my elf homes were giving me additional % too. So I would say check what's missing and contact EA, cos I didn't put all my items out again so was able to check.

Ooh i will have fun! I like starting with an all green canvas

but i think i will wait untill after the event, meanwhile i'm housefarming and buying as much off extra land as a i can

I never lost an item, but never gained an extra item either... :? Some premium items should be fun lol!
